We found this restaurant by chance because it does not appear in any video and it should. We visited it two times. The first time the staff got us a table immediately in the open garden area so we didn’t have to wait in line like in the other popular places. The atmosphere was great, lots of local people, which is always a good sign. The food was great! Since it was a Thursday the first time we visited, we were allowed to order from all available menus, which usually are divided as Mediterranean for the open terrace and Italian and traditional for the inside part. Very nice blond girl was serving us. The second time was on a Saturday and we again got a table right away. There was a DJ playing nice music but probably too loud for a restaurant atmosphere. From what we understood, the DJ was playing only on weekends. We were asked to order only from the Mediterranean menu as we were seated outside but the waiter confirmed we can have a salad from the other menus if we wanted. We ended up ordering from the Mediterranean menu only as my meal came with a side salad. We ordered the chicken skewers, the lamb burger/ kofta and the beef steak, all very delicious. I greatly recommend this restaurant and would definitely go back the next time I’m in Budapest.

Lovely atmosphere and very good quality wines on reasonable prices. Food seems to be inspired by italian cuisine but also they have selection of hungarian dishes such as chicken paprikas, goulash etc. I ordered only antipasti and it was very good selection with delicious bread. Paid a bit too much it seems but I thought I'll check when we get back at the hotel. Checked the receipt and it was all wrong. I paid for things that I never ordered and if they don't react in a proper way all 5 stars will go in the bin. Will keep you updated. Update I called the place and they said it's surely their mistake and they will sort it out. So we've had to go back to the restaurant which is 17min walk one way from our hotel and that's the time that was planned for us to spend in the jacuzzi at our hotel to enjoy our last night before we leave Budapest flying back to the UK tomorrow. Bitter taste-the whole situation... Anyway we arrived at the restaurant and lovely Benny sorted everything out in the best possible way. Really impressed and if we come back to Budapest we would love to have a meal there with pleasure. Thumbs up for the proffessional attitude and for taking care to work out the best outcome of that situation. Thanks, Benny!Appreciated.

Atmosphere & Music The ambiance is cool and leafy, like many places in Budapest. House music was playing; it was quite loud but still allowed for conversation. Occasional cigarette smoke wafting through the air. Service Service was inconsistent. At times it felt pushy, and other times it was hard to get anyone’s attention. Our food took a long time to arrive and was unfortunately cold when it did. Food The mezze starter was okay, but the baba ghanoush came out as a strange green slab and tasted off. The mains looked great, but everything was served cold, which really took away from the experience. Menu The menu felt scattered, with items ranging from Asian chicken wings to Moroccan sausage to American brisket. It lacked a clear theme, which made it hard to understand what the kitchen was aiming for. Value It was also quite expensive for what it was, and unfortunately, not worth it in our opinion. Despite the high ratings for this place, I would recommend to go to other places with similar ambiance but more consistent menus and better food.

We visited Bazaar on a Saturday evening and it was lovely to enter a vibrant but not crowded atmosphere. The DJ played great music (background so not distracting), maybe a tiny bit too loud but not overbearing. Our server Zoltan was very lovely and attentive. The bar staff created a lovely spicy margarita upon request which was not on the menu and amended it to my taste for the second. Unfortunately the chicken on my mums kebab was undercooked (way too pink in the middle) so we informed our waiter who straight away took it back to the kitchen but it took a long time to come back so my mum then had to then eat alone when it finally arrived. The bill came and there was no discount for the mistake on the meal, if it was sent back due to preference then fine but undercooked chicken could be dangerous so I guess we would have appreciated something to compensate. There were multiple service charges on the bottom of the bill (maybe this is normal in Budapest?) and they also then rounded the total up at the bottom of the bill which I have never seen before (not by much but a little strange). My dad asked if his meal came with fries and he was told yes, but these were also...
