One of the worst indian restaurant in BUDAPEST . I dont know how they get this 4.8* rating in GOOGLE. They actually dont deserve even 1* rating based on quality of food, taste of food, service and ambience. For sure this 4.8* rating as has been shown in google is a fake rating or they might have actually created these ratings by themselves .
Having been in BUDPAEST for more than 2 week and already tried many Indian ones like INDIAN PALATE , KAROL BAGH , VIRASAT, BOMBAY BUDAPEST ...etc , We went to CHEFS CORENER to try out a new indian restaurant . However it turned out to be night mare. The place is very vey congested . There is no ambience at all . You will be asked to sit on the top floor through very congested narrow steps.
We were three peoples. We ordered TANDOORU CHICKEN , CHILLI CHICKEN & MALAI CHICKEN TIKKA. All starters were absolutely not cooked well. The chicken only look good from outside but inside no masala. Inside the checken it is completely white . The chilli chicken in starter should be dry but it comes with full gravy and taste like MANCHURIAN , A disaster start to our dinner . Along with the starter we ordered some drinks (mango lassi , lemonade and plan water ). Even after finishing these starters , The drinks were not served . After experiencing all these , We did not have courage to go for main course and we simply left the restaurant by paying whatever disaster food we ate.
In reality THIS RESTAURANT is actually a shame to our GREAT NATION INDIA. They dont know how the INDIAN FOOD is .Whoever INDIAN BROTHERs and SISTER travel to BUDAPEST ...PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Avoid...
Read moreI was accidentally bumped into this tiny gem of Indian cuisine as I was in the area doing my business. I wish I would live in the same street! I would be a regular for sure. The staff are really welcoming, I had the pleasure of talking to at least 3 different people and all of them was very kind, willing to converse and helped me to grow my knowledge as well (they got a good few questions from me but they handled these with ease and in a very friendly manner). I can go on and praise them for long but I assure everyone every word would be well deserved, the friendly attitude of the Indian people is known world wide and they were nothing but the best example of this.
About the food (since it's a restaurant after all): It was divine! I have tried many things in my life, on various parts of the world, but I am positive that their meal would serve everyone's delight. It may not be equal to a very expensive, multiple Michelin Star honored restaurant's but when you're looking for decent food to eat, you don't specifically look for a place where you can spend a thousand of euros, you just want to eat delicious, great tasting food as quickly as possible and for sure well worth it! Even the portion was good too. I am delighted that I came across with this place, they are really good and I truly regret that I don't live in that area currently. Hats off to each and every one of them, thank you for having me! For sure I will visit them...
Read moreI have been enrolled in their home delivery service for about 6 months and I have a pretty good idea of their taste and overall service over a long run. Overall is it one of the best I have experienced. In particular I am a med student here and I get zero time to do anything else, so it’s difficult and not convenient for me to keep giving a service provider daily input for them to deliver, however I had no problem from them over the 6 months. The meal is delivered on time and so far not a single day of meal has been missed, I am able to pause the service and start with no issue whatsoever. The food however is the main shine. As someone who has great knowledge of how Indian cuisine should taste their food if one of the best I tasted, in general not just in Budapest. The portion so more then enough for a couple to enjoy and the taste is amazing. The best are the chicken tikka, butter chicken and tandoori chicken. Their Maam comes fresh and soft even after I reheat them at the end of the day were other places naan always fails. Overall if you live in Budapest or just visiting and craving something authentic Indian this is a must place. It’s great and honesty priced so that everyone can enjoy without breaking the bank. My 6 month experience has been amazing and I will continue the service for...
