The Everest Indian Restaurant was a delightful first-time experience for me today. At first, I was a little hesitant to walk in, but I could already feel the welcoming vibe from outside and as soon as I stepped in, I was greeted so kindly by the owner and staff. 🌞
What immediately stood out was how much they clearly care about the place, everything was clean, neat, and thoughtfully arranged. I had a lovely chat with the owner (my curiosity got the best of me!), and after learning more about the restaurant, I was handed a menu full of tempting choices. 💜
I went with two of my favourites — Chicken Biryani and Kadai Chicken and both were absolutely delicious. The chef 👩🍳 may be from Nepal, but his command of Indian cuisine is spot-on. You can really taste the freshness in every bite, and that means a lot. 👌 Thank you for the Coke, Lucky! 😀I truly appreciated the kind gesture. Wishing you and your team all the best — and I’m already looking forward to becoming your fix habitué! 😊

Most others i have tried in Budapest don't have the complex flavor that I crave. I've visited Everest 3 times during two separate stays in the neighborhood and will return whenever I'm in the city. My first visit was "Dine in" last December.
All the different curries are rich and creamy, including the saag and eggplant, which is a bit smokey. The lamb is tender, and the Kasmiri Pulao is the best I've had anywhere.
The restaurant is clean, portion sizes are reasonable, and prices are roughly half compared to the only other Indian restaurant in Budapest I like, which is not far from the train station. Everest is the...
