I was at the restaurant earlier this week and I had a great time. I ordered for a variety of their meals from their Nigerian jollof rice and plantain with fried mackerel fish, I also ordered for egusi soup and bitterleaf soup with pounded yam, all of which tasted great. I also bought their kulikuli snack, meat pie and zobo drink, all tasted nice. I went back the following day to make more orders and to also buy their suya because it had finished the first day I went there. Their meals are great for a Nigerian who knows the taste but for a foreigner some of the dishes may taste different and weird (like the bitterleaf soup). Their customer service is very awesome. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants to have an authentic Nigerian food experience.

We waited about 10 minutes at the counter before anyone came to take our order. We got two portions of jollof rice (one with beef, one without any meat), fried plantains, a meat pie, puff puffs, and two drinks. The staff member was rude, gave me regular coke instead of coke zero even after I asked twice, and took 15 minutes to package food that should have taken much less. The jollof rice and meat pie were the only decent items. The beef was extremely tough and chewy, more like ligaments than meat, completely inedible. I had to spit it out and throw away the rest. The fried plantains and puff puffs had a strange, unpleasant taste, as if they were fried in oil that had been reused many times. We paid 14,900 HUF for this terrible experience. I do not recommend.

We celebrated our anniversary by trying African cuisine, and this place turned out to be a fantastic choice! The staff at the counter was extremely nice and helpful, explained everything to us, and gave great recommendations. We tried Jollof rice with plantains and a very spicy meat dish, as well as pounded yam (fufu) with egusi soup. Everything was absolutely delicious, but for me, the soup was the highlight! The restaurant itself is quite small, with just a few seats upstairs. It’s not really suitable for larger groups, which is clearly signposted. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this place and will definitely return to try more of their menu!
