It was a cold and rainy day in Budapest and we were starving. We accidentally came across this place on Google Maps and decided to give it a try after seeing the positive reviews and images.
The restaurant is kept clean and simple, same goes for the menu with nice illustration of each food item and displayed in 3 languages: English, Hungarian and Chinese, making it easy for a tourist like myself to identify the items. They serve complimentary edamame as well with a drizzle of sesame oil, which was nice.
Tom Yum soup had a good amount and variety of ingredients like prawns, mussels and even dried Shiitake mushrooms! The spice level is good for me (I'm from Singapore where pretty much all local food is spicy).
Pad Thai tasted pretty much like what we can find in SE Asia. Some may prefer having it truly authentic with the raw bean sprouts, but I'm good without them 😅
Eel Fried Rice had good wok hey (the flavour that gets added when cooking with a wok and gas stove), and the eel was basically Japanese style and ready-made (still tasted very homely).
The hot tea and bubble tea served were good, but unfortunately they ran out of boba so we had the coconut jelly. Otherwise, it would have been the authentic experience!
We did not try the sushi so there's nothing I can say about it 😅
Definitely a must try, especially for home sick Asians (or if you just miss the food). This is the best Asian food we had so far in Central Europe after being here for 2 months (we went back here again just before we left Budapest). If you are in Budapest and feeling like having Asian food, do...
Read moreCame here last night with two Hungarian friends and we all left very happy and satisfied. The prices are actually fair and affordable, all the while not letting the taste suffer. We got the beef pho, the chicken and the shrimp tom yum and tried the dumplings. The soups were okay, basically what you would expect but the dumplings is were our hearts were captured. They were steamed and hearty, honestly so juicy i was wondering if they were some type of soup dumpling. Either way, i highly recommend giving them a try. My favourite was the beef, but one of my friends liked the chicken ones better. There were two ladies serving us and one of them gave us a mochi at the end and sweet baby jesus, it was the best mochi I've ever tried. I don't know if they make it themselves or if they buy it, but i gotta imagine it's made by them because it was so fresh and it was filled with two types of cream. Do yourselves a favour and order the mochi! This place might not look as fancy as the sao next to it, but honestly if you care about good service and extremely good dumplings and mochi, and actually having some money afterwards you should just...

The food was absolutely delicious! They truly captured the essence of Asian cuisine. The truffle rice dish was a standout, bursting with incredible flavors. Fresh ingredients were used to prepare the dishes, resulting in a delightful culinary experience.
But let me tell you about their desserts! Oh boy, they were heavenly! The selection of desserts was impressive, and each one was a sweet delight. From traditional Asian sweets to decadent treats, they catered to all tastes.
