I recently had the pleasure of dining at Türkiz, a hidden Turkish gem in Budapest. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly and attentive staff, namely Ahmet and Hakan, who made my dining experience truly exceptional.

Ahmet and Hakan's knowledge of Turkish cuisine added an extra layer of authenticity to my visit. They guided me through the menu, suggesting delightful meze options and helping me choose the perfect main course. Their warm and welcoming nature made me feel like a valued guest throughout my entire visit.

One of the best restaurant experience in a while. We made a reservation for Friday night being curious about the weekend vibes in this place and boy it did not disappointed us. We were sat on the balcony as a party of 3 with a view over the bar and the downstairs area of the restaurant. I am kind of an old school customer experience minded person but I must admit it was charming to see the food menu on the tablets we were handed next to the classic ones. I can only speak in superlatives about our waiter, Gergő. From the moment he attended our table we felt welcome and being taken care of. He helped us choosing our starters as well as the mains considering how can we taste more dishes for the experience. His knowledge on food and matching wine was absolute spot on, going into details with each dish. Even offering lactose pills when it came up that my friend didn't bring her own. We decided to go for the sharing platter as a starter with 3 optional dish, all great choices. For main we had a lamb, chicken wings and chicken salad. Giving us a bit of time to process the flavours we couldn't resist the sweets. Tasting the hot caramel sauce chocolate bomb, the pistachio baklava and the baked rice pudding was the best closure with their delicious coffee. Experiencing the Turkish show multiple times was a bit too much for me hence the 3 stars on the ambience.
