Tourists, don't get into the trap and go in this restaurant. The only good thing about it is a good view. Cortado coffee is a shame, it came in a rakija glass, and tasted awful. That is not a cortado coffee. Pasta with paprikash didn't taste well, actually we felt sick after it. It didn't contain paprikash at all, it was some kind of messy meat and souce, just a little bit. Only good thing, and we ordered many meals, was fried cheese (?!). Lemonade isn't lemonade, just rename it to fanta. What a shame!!! They price it as lemonade. I asked a girl with a piercing in her nose with brown hair who takes plates from tables, I asked her where is the toilet, she looked at me like I insulted her and IGNORED ME. I left near 50e in this restaurant and this is the treatment I get. A guest in the restaurant saw the scene and showed me where the toilet is. Blonde older woman on the cashier didn't know anything about the food and was uninterested. Another cashier with short hair (young woman) when I asked her about wifi which wasn't working, she didn't want to explain to me how can I reach it, only when I insisted she showed me, and again after that - wifi wasn't working. Everybody from the staff just ignored that. You have restaurant across the parlament which doesn't have wifi.
All in all, do not enter this restaurant just because it is...

The worst experience in Budapest I had by a mile. We walked into the cafe and went up to the front counter to have a look at the food. There was a woman standing by the counter but she didn't acknowledge us at all. I had to ask twice for a menu as she didn't hear me or ignored me the first time, she looked up at me and in a sarcastic voice said "really", and pointed to a few menus which were on the counter, which weren't obvious and we hadn't noticed.
That could have been forgiven as I get people have bad days however she then proceeded to flick one of the menus with her hand, looked up and scowled at us and scoffed! I know it may sound petty, but the attitude was absolutely vile.
We walked straight out and business was obviously lost.
Such a shame because it looked like a nice place, but there's no way I am supporting a business which allows it's staff to treat it's customers like horse muck.
There are plenty of nice breakfast places in Budapest (the one a few shops up to the left is nice) to visit, just...
Read morePossibly the worst service system I have ever come across in a 'restaurant'. The goulash was nice but sheep's cheese pasta and sausage pottage were very bland and congealed. The beetroot salad tasted old and unwashed too. There is a mandatory 15% service charge where you pay for a grumpy cashier to take your order or go up to a screen and order. Then you have to wait around to take the food to your table but if you wait, grumpy cashier person will get even more grumpy, I'm not sure what this service charge is for. Food took over an hour to come. Some comments from other people on the table: "the most bizarre dining experience I've ever have, if you could even call it dining", "unacceptable service and wait for mediocre food", "hilariously awful". A quote from the staff "the restaurant is closing" our response: "we haven't had our food yet". All in all possibly one of the worst dining...
