Visited with my girlfriend in september. Had beers and sandwiches during lunchtime. Beer was good and the sandwiches were excellent - bread of very good quality and the filling - ham, cheese, rockette, vegetables all fresh and we also both noticed a very good butter. They provided also ketchup and mayonnaise with no additional prices, but i even didnt need them, the sandwich was delicious itself. My girlfriend chose to add them to it, still was very good. The place is very much gay friendly, the staff also helped us providing information about boat travel. The locality is very nice, we were sitting on the terrace with Danube view. Very much recommend to everyone, we will for sure revisit on our next trip to Budapest ;)

One of the best and historic gay bars to have drinks at in the city, there's always a crowd during the nights. Its also open during daytime, having a great view and being well located there's always people on the patio. They have weekly events of all sorts. To know whats current, you'll can find out on their facebook page. Occasionally on Thursdays they also have top end dragshows, but they do sell out fast so be sure to book for event tickets and table reservation ahead.

If you are looking for to get a drink and watch the view of Budapest listening to good music, that’s the one. This place is one my favourites in Budapest. Roof garden with live music, great atmosphere and an excellent view! You can see the entire Budapest from there. Comfortable sits but don’t get me wrong, you don’t need them cause you’ll stand up to dance. The service was awesome. Very kind and professionals. Loved them.

On Why not I love that it's a bar with a garden, open to the street, no cellar in the basement. It's my favorite gay bar in Budapest, I always like to meet friends here. The service is only at the bar, but it's nice, fast and sexy, there's nothing to complain about. In the evening, there is an absolutely magical view of the illuminated Budapest Castle and the Freedom Bridge with the Gellert Hotel. A touching scene.

I am here right now with my Hungarian boyfriend and we're taking turns to buy the beer. They are charging him 990 forints for each Borsodi and they are charging me 1090 for the same beer. Why? Because I'm the dumb foreigner who can't speak Hungarian. Why not?! This is unacceptable. Update: I was compensated with a beer, but the staff admitted they have different prices for foreigners. So tourists, beware.
