Soul Warming, Wholesome Bakery
I gave it a try at the colourful, original bakery store:
🥐Plain Croissant - execution was on point fresh, light, flaky buttery and devoured before I thought to snap it on camera!
👰♀️🍰Marriage Cake - beautiful and light, reminded me of a delicate crumble, stickier but not overly sickly sweet, the thin layer of a gel like jam gave this treat a balanced sweetness
🥨Plain pretzel - salty and doughy but not overly heavy
🍵Hot chocolate - warmed me up on the walk back to the hotel, a hint of cinnamon and not overly milky, the lid design was interesting, wasn't easy to sip from
Would love to have stayed to eat and soak up the vibe longer but there is only a tiny nook and this place gets busy as, it's more of a grab and go place.
I also tried the 🥯cinnamon scroll at the shop they have in the heart of the city close to the food hall and it was lovely the icing sugar topping was a surprise and they have a great selection of other scroll flavours too.

Friendly service and a cozy atmosphere. A must-visit for any hungry...

The items on the counter attract so much attention that you might forget about the rest. We bought a very tasty black bread with seeds, which we enjoyed all week because it was a large piece. It stays fresh and doesn't go stale quickly. Overall, an...

That'd be huge.
For real. That's the game Brauð & Co is playing. And they're winning at it. The pastries are absolutely fantastic. The breads are, yep, you guessed it, delicious. It's a serious quality bakery that, well, just happens to be in a gas station.
Buc-ee's ain't got...
