Review of Pítan – A Culinary Rollercoaster
Pítan offers an experience that can only be described as a journey through the highs and lows of fast food dining. Let’s start with the positives: the ambience was pleasant, the service reasonably quick, and I didn't have to sell a kidney to pay the bill. So far, so good.
And then came the food.
The fries – oh, the fries. Have you ever bitten into something so dry you wondered if it had spent the past week sunbathing in the Sahara? These fries felt like they had been reheated... several times... possibly from the Jurassic era. If you’re ever in need of a household sponge, just ask for an extra portion.

I hope they work on the food quality and preparation and bring it back to the place it was...

I personally don't think the soda deal makes a lot of sense, but the fries are great and the refills are unlimited so it makes sense to dine in. Pita is a bit of a messy food but there's a very nice bathroom so that's OK. The service was great. They were kind enough to serve me at the table and I also bought a vegan burger to take back. I shall likely visit again, but I do wish there were slightly...
