I chose this Thai restaurant on the advice of another reviewer, noting they can do off menu Thai foods. The lady was extremely accommodating, and I ordered Pad Kee Mao for around $26 USD, a price I consider fair for Iceland. She noted that they don’t get flat noodles imported like Vietnam and the US have. But they absolutely delivered on quality and accommodation, and the atmosphere is nice and peaceful. This was a good choice after days of [amazing] fish and lamb stews. Edit: The noodles were amazing. Any Thai food fans know that there can be massive variance in flavors from place to place. This dish captures the core of Pad Kee Mao, while also taking the best of the fresh Icelandic ingredients. Top notch, excellent work off menu.

Today, we went to this Thai restaurant. We ordered pad kã prao moo sub or you call basil with ground pork. Don’t judge the picture you see. Pad ka prao here that’s come with all kind of vegetable. I told them to put the vegetable in it. (They did ask me that I want only basil leaves and pork or some vegetable too). And we did order lab E-san .. they were delicious authentic Thai food a lot better than some Thai restaurant back in the States. They did make real Thai spicy. I will come back again.

This little Thai restaurant is simple in decoration, service is very friendly. Foodwise it is pretty average and taste has been adjusted for European. Definitely not authentic Thai and food are pretty sweet. We tried few of the dishes, mostly salty and sweet, Satay is pretty good. Fried Spring roll smell of oil that had used many times. Some Thai food after few nights of Icaland food is still a welcome relief for some of us.

In general, I wouldn’t recommend this place: -poor service -ok food -poorly translated English menu

Firstly, placing an order was very difficult. The person waiting us gave us the menus, then came back within minutes. Later, we couldn’t even place an order! (We told them we were ready about 15 mins before they took the order)

Then, our order was written down wrong so we were missing a starter and my dads food was about 15 minutes later than ours.

The food was ok, tasting similar to what you may make at home. My noodles were very mushy and the presentation seemed to have been given a low effort on all our dishes (see photo of my stir fried chicken noodles, they seem to have been poured straight out of the wok and just left; maybe a pot of soy sauce or spring onions would help appearance?)

Also, I saw something that absolutely shocked me. The table in front of me was talking to the waitress and she asked: “Would you like some water” “Yes please” they replied “It’s over there” So they just asked the people sat at the table if they wanted water and she told them to get it themselves!

Also, the waitress seemed frustrated and not really interested in helping people which was quite...
