If you go as a group, do not try.
Due to close proximity from our hotel we stayed we went to this Laddu Gopal eat out place.
I have one main advice to the hotel management. They need to place appropriate staff at the billing or reception counter.
The staff at the reception projected that their main focus is 'business' rather than customer service.
We went here with three families together... a total number of 14 members incl kids. We alerted the staff member about the huge order coming, as this requires a bit of organisation from the staff end. Despite our warning the reception staff mixed up all orders that created chaos at our receiving end and also from the members of staff delivering our order. This could have been fixed by simply being attentive to the customer's warning. All that they need to do was devote the one of the 4 staff members at the counter for this huge order, which they failed to do. This is an example of their preparedness to serve huge orders.
We asked for an extra cup for the mocktail mix, from the reception (we had kid, the portion would be big, so we thought to share), the staff squarely declined my requested. Then I offered to pay for the cost of the cup still he did not want to give the cup. He suggested me to go to closest store to buy the cup if I wanted to...which was rude to tell to a customer. After enough persuasion, the staff member agreed to give me the cup for the price of another mocktail...which I ended up paying. The staff member was in absolute disagreement with this decision, he felt he was doing a favour to me. Note, It is not about the cup...it is the level of service. From their end it was about the cup count and the mocktail earnings, that is why they were too cautious about the cups, but from a customer end it is about the level of service.
3)The premises and interiors were good but the chat service area was again chaos. It can not accommodate for large numbers. The tables were too woobly, this can be a easy fix. One customer knocked one of our family member the whole chat tripped on him. There is an open sewerage right infront of the store, it was smelly throughout the time we had the chat sitting/standing outside.
One gentleman was so busy doing accounts inside the shop (but around where the customers walk around), probably the store manager, who was blind to what was going around, if he had some leadership skills he must project that by focussing on the service. Not showing to the customers that this is all about filling up the till.
After all, the food was just average. After trying chat at n number of places around the country, I honestly say there are...
Read moreIt is an absolute go-to destination for anyone craving authentic and delicious North Indian style chaat items. It's a bustling, vibrant spot that truly delivers on flavor, though it comes with a couple of practical challenges.
The Food - Simply Superb! This is where Laddu Gopal truly shines. Every item we tried was packed with flavor and prepared fresh. Chaat Items: From the classic Pani Puri (with perfectly crisp puris and flavorful water) to the tangy Dahi Puri and the hearty Aloo Tikki Chaat, everything was spot on. The balance of sweet, sour, spicy, and savory is masterfully achieved. You can tell they use fresh ingredients and authentic spices. Kulcha: A Must-Try! Seriously, the Kulcha here is phenomenal. It's perfectly soft yet slightly crispy, with a delicious stuffing (we tried the paneer and aloo varieties, both excellent) and served with rich chole and tangy pickles. It's easily one of the best kulchas you'll find in Vizag and a definite highlight of any visit. Don't leave without trying it! Jalebi: The Sweet Ending! Another absolute must-try is their Jalebi. Served hot and fresh, these golden spirals are perfectly crisp on the outside and wonderfully juicy and syrupy on the inside. They have that perfect balance of sweetness without being cloying. It's the ideal way to finish off your savory chaat feast.
The Challenges - Be Prepared!
While the food is stellar, it's important to set expectations regarding the practicalities: Parking is a Big Challenge: Laddu Gopal is located in a busy area, and finding parking can be a significant hassle. Designated parking spaces are scarce, and you might have to circle around or park a fair distance away and walk. Consider taking an auto or ride-share if you want to avoid this stress. Seating is Limited and a Challenge: This place is popular, and for good reason! However, the seating area is quite small and often crowded. You might find yourself waiting for a table, or even having to stand and eat your chaat. It's more of a quick-eat, bustling vibe than a relaxed sit-down restaurant experience. Be prepared for a lively atmosphere and potentially standing room only, especially...

There's a bit of parking problem that you might face on busy days if going by four-wheeler. The road is usually busy and filled with cars and traffic since it's a road to hospitals and few main junctions of the city. Keeping that in mind will make your experience better ☺️.
PS:- I love their motichoor laddo, gulab jamun, kulcha, chats, breads, mouth freshners, samosa and...
