Dhaba City Punjab — Restaurant in Andhra Pradesh

Good things first: Outdoor seating is under the sky. We went on a cloudy day which seems to best time to be there. You will have a dhaba experience in middle of the town. Perfect place to unwind in the evenings. You get to dine in a typcial dhaba climiate - cots, marble tops, bollywood posters and wooden food supports. We interacted with wating satff Ms. Lakshmi, she was nice and pleasant to our kids. Inside dining is also available. Cleanliness seems to be alright. Not so good: Food - We have ordered Butter Naan, Tandoor Roti and Kadai Veg. Tandoor Roti was good. Naan was uncooked and worried that might cause stomach ache for my kids and requested for a change, however, they mentioned that they make Naan like that and NOT possbile to cook as per customer needs. Trust me, they were blunt. We had no option but to order more Tandoor Roti. Kadai Veg was 1% to usual food that you find any at other Punjabi or Restaurants. It was looking like Mixed Vegetable Curry. When enquired Kadai Veg and Mixed Veg Curry are same, out of curiousity I asked then what is the point of having listed two on the Menu. NOT to be surprised, no answer. If you are serious Punjabi food lover, I recommend NOT to dine here. Environment - we sat outside for a while, couldnt sit longer as mosquites were feeding on us. We went inside and dined. Toilets/Wash: Went for a handwash. It was smelling bad as the wash basins were sharing the common...

Generally Dhabas serve non-veg food(of course veg also) but if you're looking for authentic Punjabi vegetarian food in Vizag, head to Siripuram , Union Bank building on the top is Dhaba City Punjab restaurant.

You have the charpois and chairs along with few tiled concrete tables with chairs around. The weather being pleasant is better to sit outdoors on the terrace. Of course you've an AC Hall too.

It is obvious that this Dhaba is owned by three generations of ex servicemen, who served in all the three Indian defence forces,Air force,Army and Navy. Interesting photographs of Battle of Sargarhi were on display. Wanted to have a word with the owners but couldn't.

There were quite a lot of customers, but maybe because of the COVID-19 pandemic there's a terrible shortage of staff .We had to wait for hours, with intermittent trips to the kitchen to remind them that we're still waiting for the food. The food was fine but I think the long wait robbed the zeal to enjoy the food rather we satiated our hunger.

One thing disturbing was none of the personnel were wearing masks.I wish they follow all the safety precautions then I can recommend this restaurant...

The place have become worst. The food quality is so so so worst over there. The service facility is so bad. If there is self service then it should be written on the board but it was not written and they tell it is self service. The waiters are very bad. The food which is ordered comes very late and the food is not warmed too and the tastes very very very bad. The water which is served there is like the water from where we wash our hands. There was not one which includes the waiter, the manager,and the owner inside the room where we sit and eat, we have to wait for them to come or we need to go and call for them So disappointment and disrespectful from this resturant The waiters there don't have manners to talk with customers. It's waste of coming to this resturant and i feel that my money is...
