Jalan's (Tea) — Restaurant in Assam

Visited in april 2022..had a great experience..just called them requesting them to share a list of products so that i can visit and purchase later this week...the person at the other end was dismissive and not interested in entertaining any of my queries no customer orientation. the place is hard to get to and if the owners are acting with such high handedness, I would recommend to find any other store in guwahati..a good alternative is assam tea in paltan bazar

A hidden gem for tea lovers!

I stumbled upon Jalan’s Tea in Fancy Bazaar, Guwahati, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip to Assam. I picked up their masala chai and a special blend of Assam strong and Darjeeling tea—and I have to say, both are absolutely divine.

The masala chai is rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced—not overpowering, but deeply comforting. And the Assam-Darjeeling blend is a genius combination: robust and bold, with just the right hint of floral smoothness from the Darjeeling. It’s now become my go-to cup every morning.

The staff were super helpful and passionate about their teas, and you can tell they know their craft. I only wish I had bought more!
