Read moreI wanted to give 5 stars for the food that I had here today until I decided to have a sweet from this shop. I chose service and so got a table in 1st floor . As usual, food here tasted here amazing. Customer service was also great. Variety rice was not like pulao it was like clove rice but the taste was really good. Mini meals itself had varieties and will be sumptuously sufficient for an adult. Paneer tikka was yummy. Customer service was on point. Tea was authentic A2B. Tomato cream soup is my favourite. They didn't have basundi and butterscotch ice cream in stock surprisingly i hear this in all the a2b outlets. Cutleries they use are also very classy. Ambience was good. Clean handwash area. Friendly waiters.
While purchasing sweets, i bought a sweet which was kind of champakali( round in shape with some flower kinda cream upon it), it tasted sour and it was hard. So i complained to the person who gave me the sweet politely. He handed me another sweet in hand. I thought it was a misunderstanding and so went up to him again and informed the same, he said this is for that. Smiled and got busy with other orders. I simply has a glance at all the other sweets kept in the showcase and saw there was another sweet whose expiry date was over and yet it was in shelf. I requested the person to remove the sweet he gave me from showcase, he said ok ok and ignored. I wasn't really looking for a replacement sweet there. Rotten milk sweet is so bad to be consumed. I hope A2B management checks these kind of things and maintain the hygiene of its food. Adding the pic of the other sweet which had expiry date written on it . Today's date is...
Read moreThis restaurant is conveniently located near the metro and bus stand. It offers a wide variety of options, including breakfast, sweets, chaat, and lunch. They also sell ready-to-eat items like pickles, Puliyogare mix, Karakolambu mix etc. The ground floor has a self-service area with limited seating and standing tables, while the top floor offers a serviced dining area with air conditioning.
One major issue I experienced is their prioritization of large office orders and online orders during peak hours, like lunch or dinner. While I waited for my order, I saw them packing food for online orders, yet I was asked to wait 10 minutes for my meal. They cleverly do this since online orders result in negative feedback, whereas walk-in customers don’t have the same recourse. Management, please address this issue by hiring additional staff to handle both online and walk-in orders efficiently. Making a hungry customer wait for you to delivery online customer on-time is not acceptable. Additionally, I was not even allowed to wait near the counter since it gets crowded and other customers wont order, seeing the crowd. Instead I was asked to move way from the counter, only to be called after 10 minutes.
Advice for customers: Before paying, confirm with the staff whether your order will be served immediately or if there will be a wait of 10-15 minutes. Only proceed with payment if they can serve you promptly.
Despite this significant drawback, I am still giving a over all 5-star rating due to my long-standing family connection and friendship with the original founders of...
