Chaayos Cafe - Indiranagar — Restaurant in Bengaluru

The best drink that I love having during the cold weather season is a hot cup of chai. And if the chai can also have spices like Adrak (Ginger), Elaichi, it would be so much more refreshing. Add to this if there are some spicy snacks, it would be the perfect at any time of day. We try hard to make the spices that would make our home-made chai taste good but seldom succeed. To get the perfect Chai, we can instead order from a place like Chaayos. This brand makes some of the best masala chai and wonderful snacks. I recently decided to order Chai along with few other items from Chaayos. Drinks Hot - Desi Chai (with Adrak & Elaichi) This hot chai tasted just amazing and every sip of it made me feel refreshed. And the best part was the packaging of the tea to keep it hot & let the flavors stay intact. The brand call it as a Kettle that has card-box around a container that has hot tea. It keeps the beverage hot for around 60 minutes and it can be re-used for storing hot or cold beverages later. My delivery came from an outlet that’s pretty far but the tea was still hot when I poured into my paper glass. Cold – Aam Panna Iced Tea This is a unique flavor of Chai along with the cold brew of tea was good. Though the flavors of tea does dominate, the raw mango flavor also does come through make it a great drink to take. Instant mix of Adrak & Elaichi This is the perfect solution for anyone looking to make instant Masala Chai at home. The box contains nearly 4-5 small packets. All one needs to do is to pour the mixture into hot water and hot masala chai is ready. I tried it and very much enjoyed the home-made masala chai. Food Palak Patta Crispies One of my favorite dishes at Chaayos that has flavors coming from Palak & Tamarind chutney. The best part is that it’s also very crispy and tastes very good. Along with the crispies, couple of pickled Jalapenos are added, that enhances the tastes even further. The only complain could be the it gets over very fast, would have loved to have many more pieces. Chilli Cheese Toasties This probably is one of the most commonly eaten snacks along with hot chai or coffee. Chaayos has definitely perfected this the dish had plenty of cheese on top of toast bread. The dish was slightly spicy and went along very well with the hot chai. Overall Experience It was wonderful ordering items from Chaayos and getting it home-devliered. I loved the packaging of the items, felt very safe consuming it. The hot & cold beverages were perfect for this slightly cold weather here in Bangalore. Adding to the drink were the amazing snacks that tasted yummy. I am looking forward to ordering food many more times from Chaayos and also visiting their stores across Bangalore. Chaayos has launched its new outlets now in Bangalore and i recently visited the Indiranagar Outlet of Chaayos which is right opposite to Magnolia Bakery. Chayoos is the right place for all you chai lovers and as well as coffee lovers too. however in their coffee's they have just two Options : 1) Desi Filter Coffee 2) Desi Cold Coffee. Ambience of Chaayos is just LIT, love the colours added to this place and the place gives you a cozy atmosphere. i would say this is a perfect place for getting your cup of chai/coffee because the Ambience itself gives you a fresh feel and i really love how they've done their aesthetics so good.they have ground floor and first floor available. both floors has indoor and outdoor seating options. there's a cute swing where you can sway and have your coffee which is wow 💯 my personal favorite space at chayoos is the first floor outdoor seating sitting inside the swing with a good view. each section of chaayos has its own feel towards the place. they have a space for the book lovers/readers which is absolutely cute and looks ubercool with books around. they have a variety of seating options.

Service was very good, it was quick ans smooth. no issues with the service at all.

Staff Behaviour was welcoming, friendly and very interactive. they even helped us with their suggestions based on our tastebuds and i can tell you this that the staff here know their menu well.Kudos Team Chaayos.

Food was great, these dishes were more of have along food with your chai/coffee. presentation looked simple and nice. food tasted good andy most favourite one was the " LOADED OPEN KHEEMA PARATA " which was warm and tasty and really could feel the kheema 👌 & " MOONG DAAL HALWA " was warm and so so good to have, next level happiness after having this.

Drinks i tried the "HONEY GINGER LEMON ", "MANGO LASSI " & " DESI COLD COFFEE " these 3 Drinks were my favourites when i visit here. other drinks were good top but i found these to bw the highlights for me as i dont drink chai.

In a matter of a few months, they realized the big potential in Bangalore and opened around 7 outlets.

Ambiance The place has some amazing looking interiors. There are multiple places with an amazing backdrop where one would love to pose for pictures. Chai shop has both indoor and outdoor allowing customers to choose.

I enjoyed tasting some of the amazing items when I recently visited the outlet along with friends.

Beverages Hot tea like Desi Masala Chai with Tulsi, Desi Chai with Masala & Adrak, Cold brew with Saumf, Frappe

I always love my tea to be strong with some added spices/masala. The Masala Chai with Tulsi was the perfect drink to refresh me.

The brand sells the cold-brew version of that tea in which one can add additional flavors. I tried the Saumf flavor drink and every sip of it felt the refreshing flavor. We Indians, usually take Saumf after having a meal as a mouth-freshener.

Food Options Palak paapdi, Poha, Cheese chili toast, Bun Samosa, Tandoori Mac & Cheese pasta, Samosa Matar Chaat, Palak Patta crispies, Kulcha with Matar curry

The Chaayos team has done the research and brought out dishes that are commonly consumed along with tea, outside or at home. Most of the time the tea is paired with spicy Indian chaat.

I like most of the dishes but there are few that stood out. Like the Chilli Cheese toast, as it had a good amount of Cheese & Chilli flavor in it. The Poha was very tasty as it had more ground-nuts, similar to the Maharashtrian style. Kulch with Mata curry was also amazing as puffed up Kulcha bread is served with gravy curry. The dish is the perfect option for lunch/dinner/evening snack.

Final Thoughts It was a great experience trying different varieties of tea & food at the biggest Chaayos outlet in Indiranagar. It is good to see automated tea vending machines and beautiful packaging for the purpose of delivery. Interiors of the place are also amazing and perfect for youngsters. I am surely planning on visiting more Chaayos outlets in the future.
