The waiter, Mr Brajesh, a slightly older gentleman, went out of his way at 10 PM in the night to make sure we got what we wanted - his small and thoughtful suggestions and gestures really made our day! He first suggested dishes that could be customised by the chef to be non spicy and minimally oily, which were dal and aloo bhindi. Then, when we ordered 3 rotis with it, he suggested that we start with one and that he’ll keep bringing back more instantly whenever we need it so that the rotis are served hot. Though we had given our preferences, we were not fully sure if the food would be to our specifications since the restaurant was crowded and we’ve seen all too often that instructions get missed or are lost in translation. To our delight, when the food arrived, it was exactly how we wanted it - really simple, non oily and non spicy.
By then, it was almost closing time and most waiters had left the floor to have their dinners themselves with one or two waiters helping all the tables - but Mr Brajesh stayed back specially for us - he said “aaj main aapko khana khilake hi jaaonga” and served us the food himself. The gesture and affection were so genuine and touching that it almost felt like we’re at home with family having a hearty meal.
One of the most memorable meals we’ve ever had - all thanks to the incredible affection and warmth...

For a starter if you plan on arriving by four wheeler be ready to scout adjacent roads for parking space during weekdays. The problem could worsen during weekends. The entrance is through a two sided stairway leading to the entrance door. Physically challenged people and elderly would find it difficult as there is no ramp. The interior is well furnished dark look but the ambiance wasn’t appealing to me. Table booking are taken during weekdays. The intricacies of menu appealed to me and the friendly staff help you make decisions when in group. The soup bowl is interesting shaped but the bread pieces on tomato soup was not well fried.the manchow soup was good but what was missing was the chilli sauce, vinegar, soya soup, etc to lace the individual taste of soups. The chat platter was interesting and tasted good. The roti, naan, kulcha were warm when served. The vegetables gravy tasted authentic. The sweet and ice cream dessert menu makes difficult to choose. The services were relatively slow considering that some tables were empty and the weekdays crowd wasn’t great. Overall the dine out experience was good but in my opinion was little bit pricey-given that there are many good restaurants operating nearby with lesser price and similar taste and quality of food not to mention some offerings...
