Chickpet Donne Biryani House, Jayanagar Located at 27-44 140, Ground Floor, 9th Main Rd, Jayanagar 3rd Block, Bengaluru, this restaurant is well-known for its signature Donne Biryani.

The menu offers a variety of dishes, including soups, special Hurubadu sizzlers, the CDBH special non-veg platter, and a range of starters—veg, chicken, mutton, and fish.

During our lunch visit, we tried the Donne Biryani, Kabab, and Guntur Chicken. The Biryani was exceptional—flavorful and well-cooked.

The Kabab, though served in a smaller portion, was delicious and cooked to perfection. However, we were disappointed to find that fish fry was unavailable that day.

The service was a bit slow, and we had to follow up multiple times for our order. Another area of concern was the handwash facility—the water flow was quite slow, and the hygiene did not meet the expected standards.

Overall, while the food quality, especially the Biryani, was great, there’s room for improvement in service...

The biriyani is really nice. Staffs are nice. I liked everything. But, you don't get gravy with biriyani, that's ok. Raita can be better. The problem is, it's common sense if you are running a hotel or restaurant, you have to provide your customer water. Normal water at least. But there you have to pay for bottle, they do have the water purifier, but they don't serve that. You have to buy water bottles. Second thing is, we ordered a family combo, and in the menu 4 verities of chicken dish is mentioned. But we only got two, we told them it's mentioned in the menu so they came back with some pieces of the same dish again. So if you are thinking about ordering the family combo, do make sure to have a conversation with them about the dishes. We are paying for the combo, the least they can do is to go with the menu. Overall experience was nice. Biriyani is good, staffs are nice. But make sure to consider these before...

Mutton Biryani Chicken Lollipops Chicken Shatriya Kebab Mutton Nelli Roast Biryani Rice .

We have difficulty seating because we were 5 , but staff were very helpful and accommodated us by giving a additional chair 🪑 the service hospitality was great 👍.

Received plate with banana leaf and food was served in 15 minutes.

Biryani was packed with flavors and felt very light served on bowl which is made with palm leaf .

Chicken Lollipop was ok but yum quantity can be better .

Chicken kebab was a top hit which had to another half plate because everyone loved it with biryani and biryani rice .

The salads served was fresh too which was slice onions and lemon 🍋.

Mutton Nelli roast was cooked to perfection as well , reduce the gravy and increase the pieces .

Great spot for Biryani lovers...
