I've been relishing their chicken biryani for over a decade now. The aroma and taste is simply mind blowing. I have a lot of my friends who even dunzo it to their offices in different parts of Bangalore on Friday afternoons. I frequent this place only for their chicken biryani. Though I did try their kebabs a couple of times, I don't fancy it much as I felt it was quite dry. It's located in a very very small lane in Johnson market. You can somehow find a place to park your two wheeler but don't even think about taking your four wheeler. Even if you do, you'll have to park it at a distance n walk up.
I want to give this place 5 stars only for the taste of biryani. Below was my experience in the beginning of March 2021... The quantity of biryani they used to serve earlier was just enough for one person and was charged Rs.150/-. Was surprised to see that they've reduced the price to Rs.100/-. I asked them if they've reduced the quantity too, and they said the quantity is the same but changed the kind of chicken piece from the regular one. (They used to put just one huge sufficient piece of chicken in a Biryani). I got 4 biryanis parcelled for the 4 of us and reached my friend's place. We were surprised to see that not only the piece of chicken was changed to a smaller one, they've even reduced the quantity to half (no exaggeration). You now need to buy 2 biryanis @ Rs.200/- for a person who can finish one regular plate of it. Earlier, 4 biryanis would cost me Rs.600/-, but now I'd have to pay Rs.800/-.
Not satisfied, I went there again at the end of March. Told them that I wasn't happy with the quantity. They immediately said that the regular quantity is available at the regular price of Rs.150/-. I took a parcel & walked out happy with...
Read moreGoogle ratings claim this place has the best beef biriyani in Bangalore. Well, beef biriyani itself is a rare thing to find. And the way this country is being run, it might not be long before we put it in the extinct category. It's my desire to explore the popular local eateries that brought me here. Frankly, the famed beef biriyani is nothing to die for. Neither is the button kabab anything great. The beef used seems to be of superb quality though. Kabab was fried in some oil that has far outlived it's time in the pan. This is an inexpensive place. But, being inexpensive doesn't mean you ought to look unhygienic. For sure, i do not believe that the kitchens of those upmarket restaurants are impeccably clean and tidy. But if you allow the dining area to be in such a rundown state, I shudder to imagine what condition your kitchen could be in. Then again, with most people struggling to differentiate between the bovine and the divine, beef biriyani isn't served everywhere. I know beef and bacon are foods they serve in heaven. Almighty has given us many exquisite things to relish on. If you want to go to Khazana to have a taste of their beef, do go, but make sure your immune system is strong....

What We Tried: Beef Biryani: Easily the star of our meal. The beef was tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. If you visit, this is the dish to go for. Chicken Biryani: Unfortunately, this didn’t hit the mark. The chicken pieces were chewy and didn’t have the same appeal as the beef. We ended up leaving most of it on the plate. Beef Wheel: Now this was a showstopper! Packed with masala, rich in flavor, and super satisfying. Definitely a must-try if you're here. Sweet - try their yellow sweet, never try. Place & Ambience: It’s a small setup that can seat about 20 people at a time — so it’s more of a cozy, no-frills spot. Located inside a narrow street, so parking is a hassle. If you’re coming by car, be prepared to hunt for a spot.
Verdict: While the place doesn't offer much in terms of size or convenience, the beef dishes make it worth a visit at least once. For beef biryani and that delicious beef wheel, it's a solid pick. Just skip the chicken biryani and keep your...
