Leon's Burgers & Wings New BEL Road — Restaurant in Bengaluru

recently visited Leon’s Grill and ordered a burger, paying via a digital transaction. My bank statement confirmed that the amount was deducted, yet the staff claimed they didn’t receive it. After showing them my transaction, I was met with dismissive, even sarcastic remarks from the manager, who suggested I pay again directly to the owner if I wanted my meal, effectively doubling the cost.

When I raised concerns, the response was rude and dismissive, with no effort to resolve the issue on the spot. Instead, I was told to “wait” for a refund from my bank, which made no sense given that the transaction had already gone through on my end. It was as though they expected me to be shameless enough to make a scene just for a meal I had already paid for. The lack of accountability, logic, and customer service is disappointing for a brand like Leon’s Grill, which I had heard good things about.

Ultimately, I left without my meal and without my money refunded. I’m left questioning whether I’ll return, considering the experience and the way I was treated. I hope the management takes note and ensures no one else has to go through...

Leon Grill is a decent pitstop for your burger cravings near M S Ramaiah institutes on New BEL road. You won't find 4 wheeler parking but 2 wheeler parking is ample enough. Some 2 wheelers were parked just outside the restaurant but I'm not sure whether that's legal or not. The place has nice ambience. It's not hustling with people so you can place orders nicely. Staff looks professional and friendly. Order placement was fast. Got our food fast. There's ample space for sitting including the high chairs which face towards the road (in case you aren't fed up of Bangalore traffic and don't mind people watching you eat 😝). The food was great esp the chicken fries. You must try their royal jumbo burger because its tasty and huge! The bathrooms could have been cleaner though. Water was splashed everywhere. Extremely disappointed by this branch in particular, the issue is with the cooking. Earlier used to order through swiggy and often recieved pieces that are over cooked and black . This time I came down to the outlet and placed the order for a take away, lo and behold the same issue, the kitchen management is over cooking the chicken , the breading outside is black and bitter to taste. Can avoid once but if the same issue persists all the time i order from this outlet then something definitely is wrong with the kitchen staff. I will say it again this problem is particular to just the BEL ROAD outlet. I am frustrated because I am a regular here from about 7 years and I love the chicken but this issue is just not ending.
