IMPORTANT UPDATE: Best to not dine in as I noticed a bed bug crawl out of the furniture and onto to my shirt. Best to just take home and eat. When I pointed it out to the staff and manager, he said they are getting the place fumigated - which is worrying becuase this probably isn't the first time it has been pointed out. Unless they gut the place and throw out the furniture, the bed bugs arent leaving.
Original review: While not everyone can agree upon which place serves the best biriyani in Bangalore, Mani's definitely gets my vote. I choose these guys over Meghana's anyday.
The biriyani served here is very much in the South Indian style where the biriyani is spicy and not just aromatic. The masala is thoroughly mixed in with the rice - the biriyani isn't the type where the meat is laid at the bottom and the rice layered on top. You get the full biriyani experience in every mouthful. It isn't over the top full of heat like the biriyani you get at Kritunga, rather the heat is midway, and there are multiple flavour layers to the mix of spices used.
Also, these guys use basmati rather than seera samba rice. Apparently, this is a deal breaker for some people, but I'm no snob - when it comes to biriyani.
Also, they give a decent discount if you opt to pay via UPI than card or cash, so always pay using UPI.
If it's your first time, order the boneless chicken biriyani, don't bother with anything else.
And more importantly, heed my advice, stay away from the vegetable biriyani. These guys suck at making vegetable/paneer biriyani. If you're looking for veg biriyani, you're better off...

I've been to Mani's for not less than 10 times and it has always been an amazing experience! I ordered the chicken kebab biryani last time and it was amazing. The rice was fluffy and fragrant, the chicken was juicy and succulent, and the salan was spicy and tangy. The portion was generous and the price was reasonable. The service was quick and efficient, and the packaging was neat and hygienic. I enjoyed every bite of my biryani and felt very satisfied.
Maniās Dum Biryani is a great option for biryani lovers who want a fresh and tasty meal at an affordable price. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great biryani experience. I would give it a rating of 5...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreRecently I decided to explore Supreme Chicken Biryani (Boneless) in Dine in to explore the real aroma without packing to get a full experience. I went to the Indiranagar Bangalore Branch to try it.
But I faced a huge disappointment that Supreme Chicken Biryani (Boneless) won't be served in Dine in. I went with my wife even though I informed the staff in the hotel that Supreme Chicken Biryani (Boneless) is for me and I am going to order another biryani for my wife so just allow me to have both the biryanis as dine in. But the staff refused to do that. Just tell me, is it fair ?
Still there are only 2x tables only occupied and Still other 5x tables are available to dine in. Even I asked the staff, "What type of business are you doing ?" He simply replied, Sorry , this is our hotel policy.
You know in that branch there is no water coming from the tap, I adjusted without raising any concern and washed our hands using a mug.
My lunch that day was completely ruined by our hotel policy and your staff.
I don't know whom to blame because your staff is telling you that it is Hotel policy.
That's the reason I am writing...
