This place is a hole in the wall in a very small lane.

Let’s talk about the food first. Decent. Not good, not bad. Quantity - 10 year old girl who doesn’t have a good appetite. Bangda masala fry meal and Matti tawa fry meal.

Masala fry was good. Only the masala. Fish was stale. Matti tawa fry had almost no masala on it. Fish wasn’t too fresh either. But, since we’re in Bengaluru, scamming people is a business ; Matti fry can be passable.

Fish gravy, horrible in taste. Extremely low in quantity. Rasam, equally bad in taste. Maybe worse. Similar quantity. Buttermilk, quite okay in taste but completely watery.

Rice quantity is less for a 10 year old girl with below average appetite.

Neer dosa was smaller than your average small puri.

Overall, most places that are based on anything and of anywhere in Bengaluru, you’re most likely scammed with the emotions attached to the place the eatery has associated itself to. Or the ‘supposed’ good food of that city(area) present in Bengaluru. This is no less than that.

Bangda masala fry meal as of April 2024 was ₹200. 1 Bangda was given.

Matti tawa fry meal April 2024 was ₹160. 3 pieces. Ambience - none. Don’t eat at all here. Service - they give you the food fast so that you fast and go. Anyway, they give you quantity as scraps. You wouldn’t take long to finish. The menu has no prices written. Very good way to get fooled and scammed.

Basically just another scam eatery where idiots have eaten and given high rating. Please don’t fool people with the high ratings. Places like these, should get burnt down.

I recently dined here and it was thoroughly impressed by the authentic coastal touch of their food. The highlight of my meal was the Chicken Ghee Roast, hands down the best I’ve ever tasted. The Chicken Sukka had a decent coastal flavor, and the juicy kababs were cooked to perfection. The masala fry and fish curry were absolutely top-notch. The staff was incredibly friendly, offering great suggestions on which dishes paired well together, enhancing the overall dining experience. We found the Nethli was not fresh but the rest was just OK. Space is really small, cramped with small tables and not the cleanest . Although the choice of options for vegetarians is good, they don't know how to cook veg food, we were served burnt gobi Manchurian. Egg burgi was by far their best serving, which any college student who cook for himself can do as well. Not expensive. It you like sea food and not worried about ambience and hygiene then go there.
