Recently visited paakshala Dickenson road to try some amazing North Indian dishes and full marks to paakshala for some great service and lip smacking dishes. The location is feasible and there is ample seating options.
Coming to the dishes we tried the babycorn pepper, paneer 65, dahi papdi chaat, sev Puri ,veg manchow soup, strawberry and butterscotch milkshake, Shahi paneer, kaju masala , butter kulcha , American chopsuey and nutty fudge sundae
Coming to the starters the panner 65 was cooked in semi gravy style and the potion size was amazing for the price but what stole the show was the babycorn pepper. It was just perfect and tasted heveanly, I must try for sure!!!. The veg manchow soup and a strong flavorful kick to it and went well with the crispy noodles. Coming to the chats i felt the dahi papdi chaat could've had some more dahi but other than it both the dishes tasted very well and we're filling. Coming to the highlight of the show the north Indian curries . Paakshala just can't go wrong with their curry recipes, the Shahi paneer was extremely tasty and had hugee chunks of paneer but the kaju masala with the crispy kaju soaked in some lip smacking gravy was one of the best I've ever had and the potion size for the price was amazing and totally worth it , the curries went well with the butter kulcha. Coming to the chopsuey it was a typical American chopsuey, it had pineapple etc and was a sweet affair and wouldn't recommend it to people who like their noodles spicy,if you like an authentic sweet chopsuey then it's a must try. Coming to the nutty fudge sundae it had 3 scoops of ice cream and was loaded with cut fruits custard and loads of choco chips nuts sauces chocolate etc. The nutty sundae was a perfect end to an amazing experience I had at paakshala. I felt during peak hours their service is a little slow but other than that...

They are a very popular name for Multi-cuisine, pocket-friendly veg place. Usually, I have tried almost all breakfast offerings. This time tried some starters, Main Course with Gudbud. As usual, the hygiene level is top-notch which is no 1 priority for me in dine-in or delivery after the pandemic. On the ground floor, they have self-service space if you have less time to have your food. On the 1st floor, elaborate service space is available. Service was fast with a broad smile. The pricing is super pocket friendly with the quality and quantity are matching. This time tried Mushroom chili, Paneer Tikka, Butter Garlic Naan, Malai Kofta curry, Kadhai mushroom, and the show stopper is Gudbud.
brief review
Mushroom Chili - Perfected fried mushroom dipped in batter. Super crunchy and exact spice level upto what it should be.
Paneer Tikka - Did not thought will get this quality and taste. But they have surprised me. Starting from the marination, the cooking timings and accompaniments.
Butter Gralic Naan - Nicely made with flavour of garlic. Perfect I will say.
malai Kofta curry - Slightly different what i made with paneer and dry fruits here they have used chopped vegetables. The gravy is creamy but not creamy as malai kofta curry gravy should be.
Kadhai Mushroom - Nicely made with kadhai masala. The bell peppers should cut little biteable in size. By the way taste of Masala was nice.
Fried Rice - with long grain rice what we love as indo chinese. Not very dry.
Gudbud - One of me and my kids favourite flavour of Ice cream. wow see the pic you will get an idea. In photo it is so tempting.

Read moreOne of my favourite places, this one has a new branch on Dickenson Road which works perfect for shoppers and office goers alike. The food is brilliant as is the case with all their branches. They have a convenient parking lot just about 100 meters from their property so no worries about the vehicle getting towed.
The staff is very courteous and the food speaks for itself. Coming to what I tried:
Fresh Lime soda Tandoori Platter comprising of Hara Bhara Kebab, Tandoori Mushroom, Paneer Tikka and Tandoori Baby Corn. It was a healthy one and scrumptious. Gobi Pepper Dry – Another nice option in the starter section but not for those who like milder food. This was spicy and hot but tasted great. Tandoori Butter Roti- Wholewheat and soft Paneer Butter Masala – Perfect taste Veg Kadai – Gravy based veg dish ; tangy and sweet Mughlai Biryani – a must have ; presentation was lovely and every grain was delicious ; loaded with nuts , it’s a great eat Gudbud Icecream – You must create space in your tummy for this one ; Love the presentation and the perfect blend of the different ice cream flavours, dry fruits and nuts
They have huge portions so plan your order accordingly . They have seating on the upper level and quick eats on the lower one. They have chaats, south Indian dishes and lots more on the menu.
Overall a nice dining...
