We went there on Saturday, the 1st of July 2023. Service and atmosphere were just about fine. The burrata came with roasted corn & basic salad which is a very weird combination - simple burrata, tomatoes, rucola & balsamico would have been sufficient. Food was of below average quality - the Parma ham pizza we ordered had lots of pieces of aluminium foil baked deep inside the pizzas. When we complained about it the chef apologised and offered us new pizza and a complimentary glass of wine which we accepted. Later in the bill, they charged us for the wine, which when we brought up, was justified as chef has left for the day, he didn't offer but just mentioned wine, etc. We know wines were there in the menu, didn't need chef to mention it. Finally they made us pay for the complimentary wine which one of their own offered to us but was not reachable during bill time.

Visited Le Jardin, a colonial-style restaurant for lunch buffet. The serve a-la-carte too but the buffet is the popular choice. The food spread was limited but each and everything which was there was unique. The starters especially hit the right notes. When I didn't like the soup which was there, the staff was super kind and accommodative to offer another soup which was not part of the set buffet. The new soup was delicious. The vegetarian and the non-vegetarian had an equally good spread but the vegetarian had the usual choices like mixed veg, paneer etc. So couldn't identify any great or amazing dish. However the wide choice of deserts made up for it which were not overly sweet. My Report Card - Food - 7/10 Service - 9/10 Value for Money - 7/10 Ambience - 7/10 Worth visiting again? - Wouldn't reccomend

We visited this beautiful restaurant last night to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. Mr. Upender our host was very helpful in making this anniversary dinner very enjoyable and memorable. Appetizers: 🍀 cocktail and Vegetable Kebab Platter. My son liked the 🍀 cocktail. The Vegetable Kebab Platter was custom made for us and was well prepared. Main Course: Chicken Tikka Makhan served with Butter Garlic Nan. And a complimentary side of Dal Makhani and Aloo Curry. Chicken Tikka Makhan was finger licking good... πŸ˜‹. Dessert: Belgian Chocolate Cake and Philadelphia Cheese Cake. I really enjoyed the Philadelphia Cheese Cake. To top it all, Le Jardin made this evening memorable with a delicious Dark Chocolate Cake. Thanks to Upender and the Le Jardin team.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lapis Restaurant, and I must say it was an extraordinary culinary experience. Located in the heart of the city, Lapis offers an inviting ambiance, impeccable service, and an array of tantalizing dishes that leave a lasting impression.

Upon entering the restaurant, I was immediately captivated by its elegant decor. The dimly lit space exuded a cozy and intimate atmosphere, making it an ideal setting for a romantic dinner or a sophisticated evening with friends. The attention to detail in the interior design truly added to the overall charm of the place.

The service at Lapis was exceptional from the moment I stepped foot inside. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and well-versed in the menu offerings. They were more than happy to provide recommendations and answer any questions I had, ensuring that my dining experience was both comfortable and enjoyable.

Now, let's talk about the star of the showβ€”the food. Lapis Restaurant specializes in modern fusion cuisine, blending flavors and techniques from various culinary traditions. The menu was thoughtfully curated, offering a diverse selection of dishes that catered to a range of palates.

To start, I opted for the Crispy Calamari with a tangy lime aioli. The calamari was perfectly cooked, achieving a delightful balance between crispy and tender. The aioli provided a refreshing and zesty complement to the dish, enhancing the overall flavor profile.

For the main course, I chose the Pan-Seared Chilean Sea Bass with a ginger-infused soy glaze. The sea bass was exquisitely cooked, flaky, and moist. The glaze added a subtle yet delightful Asian-inspired twist, elevating the dish to new heights. The accompanying side of sautΓ©ed vegetables was equally flavorful and well-prepared.

To conclude the meal, I indulged in the Flourless Chocolate Torte with raspberry coulis. This decadent dessert was a chocolate lover's dream. The torte was rich, velvety, and luscious, while the tangy sweetness of the raspberry coulis provided a delightful contrast. It was the perfect finale to an exceptional dining experience.

One aspect worth mentioning is the pricing. While Lapis Restaurant falls into the higher price range, the quality of the food, service, and overall experience justifies the cost. It is undoubtedly a place where you can celebrate special occasions or indulge in an unforgettable culinary journey.

Overall, Lapis Restaurant exceeded my expectations in every aspect. It is a hidden gem that deserves recognition for its outstanding cuisine, warm atmosphere, and top-notch service. Whether you're a passionate foodie or simply looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Lapis is a place that should be on your list. I highly recommend it and eagerly look forward to...

This new restaurant is absolutely exceptional & extraordinary 😍 The garden setting & Lush green ambiance are a feast & delight for eyes 😍 The extensive Indian & international menu is highly imaginative and brilliantly executed & curated πŸ₯° The friendly service is of the highest standard & guests are made to feel very comfortable welcome. There is one thing I like about a meal at Le Jar-din it does not confuse you with too much food. A smart selection of salads, appetizers, main courses & desserts make a meal there easy to go through And that is the meal most people tend to go for. Some of the dishes, such as kababs, pizzas, & Mouthwatering chaats, are served on the table. However, they do offer an Γ€ la carte menu as well. Try the tenderloin carpaccio, duo of duck, marinated palm heart salad, Australian pork belly & their superb classic thin crust pizzas. The tandoori butter naaaaans and their thalis are hot as amazing 😍 Awesome spread with good variety in starters, main course & sweets & desserts 🍨 Service is little slow but they have We had Starters Paneer tikka palak Acrot tikki kebab platter 😍 Beverages Surf & turf & South Side Main course Lucknowi dhungar masala & chur chur parantha & paneer makhani & lacha parantha. Even Hyderabadi khatti dal was extremely good πŸ₯° Burrata pizza was truly delicious and super fresh & the staff guy was suggesting us and been regularly checking if we are happy with service πŸ‘ Even they have the Best fish curry & a wonderful spread for buffet πŸ₯° Pleasant atmosphere and lovely scenery accompanied by yummy food. I know, I know -- southern India isn't really known for naan, and my caveat is that I've never been to northern India. BUT I've had a helluvalot naan in my American life of enjoying Indian food, and Le Jardin's naan -- as well as its Kesari Bhaat (my new food obsession), its chutney varieties, and informative chefs -- really stood out to me.

My husband and I went for the breakfast and were immediately awed by the grounds of the hotel itself, even if it did have a little bit of a colonial feel, which isn't really my thing. Most of the staff, per usual in India, respectfully addressed my husband first and didn't really look at me until I spoke.

But the quality of the food and otherwise excellent service made the experience memorable. We especially enjoyed how the chefs seemed genuinely passionate about their art and trade, and were willing to impart their knowledge of Indian food and culture with us. Highly recommended, especially...
