Hamleys- The finest toy shop in the world — Local services in Bengaluru

So after having a pizza with my family , we went to Hamleys. I've not been there till now and being able to take my daughter. It wasn't crowded. Seeing optimus prime was a highlight for us both, the toy story level was great as my sons a big fan of buzz etc and the lego Isle. It was all just a wonderful experience, we watched the demonstrations, no pressure to buy anything like some stores can do. All the staff were friendly on approach and welcoming especially the staff that were front of house on the day we came in. The staff have a genuine persona and seem happy in what they do. I really hope they're appreciated as it takes a very special individual to do this job. I'm sure they get some little monsters in there sometimes lol. So much energy and enthusiasm from the staff (superheros without the cape) my only minor criticism is the till staff were talking amongst themselves, but overall an absolutely smashing day. Had a great experience with this particular Hamleys a few days back, all thanks to Gayatri (store supervisor I think...) Hamleys in general has provided a decent customer experience on several occasions but there was nothing to rave about until now. I came into a situation which could not be easily solved and I had given up hope. I reached out to the store where they tried to help but I felt that it may not be possible. Gayatri came to the rescue and she pulled all strings to ensure that I don't go back home disappointed. I wouldn't have held anything against Hamleys if my issue had not been resolved but what Gayatri did was going above and much beyond. Having managed customer operations teams myself, I know how much I can value this kind of a gesture. Dear Hamleys 1MG road, Particularly your store staff (lady on duty near soft toys counter on 25 June 4:30-5 pm). I am beings specific because I don't wwnt entire Hamleys to have a bad name because of her.

Kindly understand one basic thing, your cmr are kids. Parents are just facilitator. Treat kids with politeness & esp. kids grandparents with extra care.

Being rude in retail business results in business loss, like this case. My family will never visit 1 MG mall Hamleys bcoz of a bad experience.

Word of advice for other who read this far - This store staff don't entertain kids testing the soft toys, the entire vibe of the place is unwelcoming & a particular female staff eye gaze kids in a manner to make everyone uncomfortable.
