For some reason I never heard of this place but was pleasantly surprised with this place.
I have been here multiple times and each one has been a more memorable dining experience than the previous. The staff, right from the person noting your name to the servers, are extremely polite and well mannered. The ambience is amazing and so is the decor.
Coming to the food, I would like to list some notable dishes that make me want to come back to this place. Clear noodle soup - ordered it out of curiosity, when it came it looked like water and some vegetables, but the taste was amazing. Light and mellow in its flavours, providing the nourishing feeling a soup must provide. A Paneer dish called GGG Paneer(can't recall the full name)- the softest paneer I have tasted and amazing flavours. Sarso olive ke angara - name may feel non intuitive, but the taste was lip smacking. Cauliflower and Broccoli florets marinated and cooked in a clay oven, the six pieces they provide aren't enough! We have had Jeera Rice and Dal Tadka, Veg Pulao, Baby corn chilli, Paneer Multani and all of these were great but nothing memorable. The pulao was a bit on the sweeter side. Paneer Multani was actually pretty average but the paneer was super soft. Despite a couple of dishes being great but non-amazing, I think this place deserves a 5 *. If you are around Indiranagar and looking for a pure vegetarian place for fine dining, this is the...
Read moreSo ya… plan was to eat at Kota Kachori, but sadly, it was closed. And we were super hungry. like kuch bhi khila do type 😂
Then we saw this place called PAKWAAN — glowing in the cold night like it was calling us. Looked completely empty. Just 3 tables occupied, we became the 4th. For a second, we were like “Dude, is this even a good idea?”
But BHUKH DOUBT.
We sat. Place was peaceful. Staff came in, super polite and sweet. Gave us the menu, and damn — dish names were total Bollywood level.
We ordered:
Gul-Gulshan-Gulfam Paneer
Methi Matar Malai
Kadhai Paneer
Fried Rice
Lachcha Paratha
Butter Garlic Roti
First bite of the starter and I was like: “Okay okay okay, this place is gonna surprise us.” And brooo — what a surprise.
That Methi Matar Malai? SO DIFFERENT. Creamy, slightly sweet, and totally delicious. 100/10
Kadhai Paneer was solid. No complaints.
But the BUTTER GARLIC ROTI — OH MY GOD. I’ve always been a butter garlic naan fan, but this roti?? NEXT LEVEL. Might actually be better than naan now. 1000/10.
From thinking “Zoro ki bhuk lagi hai, yehi kha lete hain..or kya...” to “yaar, kab wapas chalein?” — this place flipped the whole mood.
Go with no expectations, and...

If you are looking for vegetarian food only, Jain options then this place will be on top of the list. Wide range of soups, starters and main course. Food is pretty good.
Took Pineapple n Ginger soup, in the starters we tasted Paneer Dum Anari (and it was mind blowing and must try), bhutta in glass, sarsaon olive ke phool and all tasted great and awesome. In main course tasted subzi tilimili kheema and paneer multani masala. Chilly olive naan and Butter Garlic naan were rubbery but I personally like little crisp
They have a private royal dining option (buffet option with 36 items costing Rs 1250 plus taxes) for 12-14 members but require prior booking. Other Buffet options also available costing 699 plus taxes .
