Peacock — Restaurant in Bengaluru

I've always wondered what it looked on the inside because I stay close by but never went in. This restaurant is located on the 100ft road, next to reliance footwear. The boarding is small, but as they say, never judge a book by it's cover!

PARKING : You can imagine that parking is difficult at 100ft, but they have Valet parking so you can relax !

AMBIANCE : The 1st floor is where the dining area is. There's a buffet spread in the middle and seating both closed indoor and outdoor. Has beautiful paintings all around.

WHAT I ORDERED :

Wine Punch : Sula Red Wine mixed with Orange & Pineapple. So amaze that my friends also ordered the same. P.S : They have amazing Wine collection. So this is a must try when you're here!

Tomato Dhaniya Shorba Soup : Just to keep my taste buds tingling.

Chaat Platter : Consisted of Aloo tikki, Dahi Puri and Sev Puri. Make sure you eat them soon and NOT take time with the picture of this beautiful platter 😅

Jaipuri Paneer Tikka : Nicely done paneer.

Loaded Potato Skin : ABSOLUTE favorite! We probably asked for more of this!

Onion Rings : The Onion was thinner than the coating, which we mentioned to the staff and they were happy enough to correct their mistakes.

The BUFFET SPREAD had Pastas, Indian Breads, Curries, Palao, Rice and Sambhar, Schezwan Noodles and my favorite, Curd Rice! Haha, so you can imagine the mix of varieties with both Continental and Indian merging in. Great options to choose from!

Let's not forget the desserts part.

Mango mouse, Kiwi Delight were my favorite. Gulab jamoon, Roshagulla, Carrot Halwa, Ice cream were the other all- time favorites.

Me and my friends decided to go to this place for lunch. As you enter the ambience steals your heart. They have nice decor with comfy seats both inside and few facing the busy lanes of Indiranagar.

They are known for their chats and Indian food but they have started with Continental menu which I have heard a lot about so wanted to give a try. So we started off with

Sweet Corn Soup - which was very tasty and was well done.

Starters

Woodstok Platter - which included Onion Rings, Stuffed Potatoes and Mozzarella Sticks Pretty impressive. Everything tasted absolutely perfect.

Popping Cheese and Jalapeno - if you love jalapeno then must try this.

Sleazy Cheese Ball - this was Cheesy and perfectly done.

Chat platter - very tasty and totally loved it.

Main course

Veg Pot Pie - this was stunner. Crust filled with veggies and cheese and topped with browned potato and cheese. Absolutely delicious to eat. All the veggies were perfectly done and cheese oozing out in every bite was drooling for.

Desserts

Gajar Halwa - I loved it. It was neither too sweet nor less it was perfect.

Gulab Jamoon - absolutely loved them.

Few of my friends tried Non Veg sizzlers and they absolutely loved them.

All the pasteries were delicious and loved it.

Special Mention on the service. The service was outstanding and they thoroughly helped us in choosing our food to explaining us everything.

Absolutely loved the experience. Would love to visit soon.

Ambience - 5/5 Food -...

The party Hall is bit small here.. Cannot accommodate more than 50 people.... I had my son's birthday party here on 14th dec 2019 evening..I had booked party Hall (second floor) for celebrations and dining hall (at first floor) for food.... However, on the day of event they had booked another party and dining in second floor.. Ours both party and dining at second floor... This was done without communicating to us... I specifically wanted second floor dining hall.. (Otherwise I wouldn't have booked peacock as I reside at different part of the city ) However, manager on the day of our event ensured that everything will be taken care properly.. And he did.. Starters were served to the table.... Welcome drink, Starters, chats, main course food, deserts were superb, classy and awesome... Staff deputed to my event were very supportive, soft spoken, well behaved.... Manager/supervisor was very professional and handled all events properly with ease... For Food, staff, manager, supervisors and service provided, I give rating 5....However, for changing dining hall without taking consent /proper communication, overall In rate 4......."Big Thanks" to all the staff and manager and supervisors deputed for our event on 14th dec 2019 evening at second floor.. Also, I strongly recommend Peacock for small family...
