BALLAL STAFF ON THEIR MISSION TO MAKE SURE THEY SHUT DOWN!!!

Hopeless service. The staff is terribly rude and uncouth.

We’ve been patronising your restaurant both here and in madras for the past several years.

Here’s how our visit transpired We reached the place at around 9:20pm and we were told that we had to order quickly and that was to be our last order. (Google said that the place closes at 10:30) When the soup was given to our table, the server asked us to eat up the soup quickly as the food was on its way and he didn’t want us to delay because they wanted to close up the restaurant. We were given left overs and the last bits of cut onions, when the same was told to the waiter, he said “how do you expect me to help customers that argue” and the waiter made a big deal about it and continued arguing about it endlessly. we googled the place and showed the staff that someone had left a review just yesterday complaining about the rude behaviour of the staff, and the waiter responded with “go you also put one review”

One of the better South Indian breakfast spots in Bangalore. Have been to this place a couple of times and appreciate the quality and consistency: be it their super crispy vadas, ghee loaded dosas or tasty sambar and chutney. The service is super quick and despite the place being very popular and crowded especially on weekends, the management is very professional and prompt in attending diners and managing tables. There is ample FREE parking space in the Ballal Hotel complex where the restaurant is located, something that is rare in Bangalore especially in this area. Overall, a perfect breakfast spot to sit down and enjoy good value for money south Indian food in a quality and rich setting. I wish I cud give negative marking. This place is horrible. Lot of mosquitoes in the restaurant. When we complained to the staff, they said "ya corner seats will have mosquitoes". Then we changed our seat to centre table .. But same story there too. Food is mediocre. Also, be very careful if you don't eat certain vegetables. They say it's not in the dish, but we did find and got the dish changed. Service is horrible!! In fact worse than horrible. Also, once the bill is paid, one of the Steward came and told me that service charge is not included in the bill, and rudely demanded for tips . They don't deserve. Still we gave.
