Just another place in Bangalore that’s all about the ambiance and offers nothing more, at all!! Overhyped. Not worth it.

We visited this place for a family birthday and we reached at 4.30 pm. We were asked to leave the table by 6.30 pm by the staff, found it to be super rude, but we requested for further time, they didnt allow. We thought we will go to some other hospitable restaurant or bar in forum rex mall.

As we seated, we were blown away by the interiors of this place. It is gorgeous really, little did we know thats all we are going to enjoy for the evening. Some staff kept on putting sunroof and removing it throughout the 2 hours duration we were seated there, say 20+ times, please dont kill the vibe atleast!?

We started ordering food, fries and nachos were the first order. Fries has a weird smell. The chicken 44 was good, nothing above good. The chicken teriyaki baos were probably the worst I have tried. The bang bang mushroom, cheese roll, spicy veg Dimsum, corn burger were just average dishes. Nothing too special, not even good. The dishes are priced exorbitantly high but the portion sizes are too tiny, doesn’t justify the price considering the taste is bad for most dishes. See, we don’t mind paying good money for a dish, it has to be delicious if not out of the world. Serving meagre portions and not delivering to the taste doesnt work in the long run.

Coming to the worst part, the drinks. The cocktails are easily priced st 700-1200₹ each and are one of the worst cocktails I have tried this year in Bengaluru. We ordered multiple cocktails, didnt like any. Weird part, they add alcohol bitter in cocktail like every other cocktail place but the quantity of the alcohol added is really questionable. You wouldnt feel a thing even after 4/5 cocktails and you will realise you spent 5k already and arent even happy, iykyk. This felt like cheating to us, I mean the greed is beyond my understanding for such a big place to do such a cheap tactic to not add alcohol properly yet charging high prices for it. Please please please avoid cocktails here and thank me later.

The pull me up mango cake was the one we ordered for dessert, again it was quite okayish.

The service is good, the staff seemed to have a lot of attitude and it seemed like everyone around is doing us a favour.

Spending thousands of bucks didnt seem justified here and it lowkey killed our vibe, mood and ruined the birthday girl’s evening. Definitely don’t recommend. Pangeo Management really needs to work hard to sustain and make a big name for themselves. Hope you take the...
