Wanted to surprise my friend with a cute bento cake and thought why not get a custom cake as it was a rather special occasion. Shared my requirements with the owner, who is very accommodating and responsive. She agreed to have it done 30 min which was very nice on her part, but it took about 1 hour but no harm done.

I was quoted 550 for a simple bento cake with a very basic line art on top. Keep in mind, most delivery apps have bento cakes for as low as 200 made of buttercream and good quality dense and moist cake. As it was a homebaker/bakery I thought why not support it but it fired back.

I had requested for a line to be written on top of the cake and I was assured it would be done. But when I went to pick the cake up it wasnt done and the cake decorator there said it cant be done. Mind you, this was the very reason I choose to pay 500+ over 200 just for a simple line with 10 words. Had to compromise.

The cake was made with stale whipped cream that left a bad aftertaste and texture in the mouth. The cake was immediately consumed in 20 min after picking it up. Expected buttercream since it was a chocolate cake.

The owner should have told what would have been included. She should have been more transparent that its a whipped cream cake.

The cake it self was not at all good. Tasted like a cheap bakery cake filled with sugar syrup to make it moist. Tasted very very bad. Major red flag. I didnt expect such a low quality cake for 500 rupees. Even smoor has 500gm chocolate cake for 550.

Couldnt have the cake after a few bites.

Really dissatisfied and disappointed. Didn’t expect this. Being a student, I had asked for a discount which I did get (very kind of them) but that doesnt mean you skimp out on the quality. Please save your money by either baking a cake which turns out to be cheaper or ordering from somewhere else. Spoiled the occasion as well. Overall, Queen of Cakeland gets a big thumbs up from our family! The taste was spot on (5/5!), the quality of ingredients shone through, and the innovative twists on traditional flavors were a welcome surprise. We left feeling happy, satisfied, and not a bit weighed down. This bakery is definitely worth a visit for anyone with a sweet tooth – you won't be disappointed!
