The very thing missing at this place is the SAMSKRUTI (CULTURE) to serve a visiting customer. We a family of 4 visited this place on 07/01/24 at 9.15pm for dinner and about half the tables were occupied.
On placing our order we received our 1st starter (Hara Bara Kebab - Which was not hot but tasted okay and that's why 2 stars for the only food we ate & 2 water bottles : Total bill Rs 264.00) after 15 mins and literally nothing after that. We waited till 10.00 pm to receive our next order of starters and the main course and it never arrived. Two managers came and went promising to send our food in the next few mins but it never arrived. A lot of customers who came after us were served and finished their dinners as well.
We didn't want to create a scene as other families were present and got up. Finally when I went up to the billing counter to settle the bill. The arrogant managers simply didn't care about us and informed the billing the guy to just cancel the remaining items and didn't even show an ounce of remorse. (We were not an isolated case : They messed up an order next to us as well)
Go here only if you want to spoil your evening. These guys think they are bigger than the customers.
They don't even deserve a single star. I would give negative if possible.... Don't go here there are hundreds of better...
Read moreThe restaurant is no longer called Samskruti, and is now named Simpli Veg, and is apparently under a new management.
The spread is now smaller (apparently because of the fewer clientele on account of Covid) and quality of food has gone down too. Breakfast Buffet is priced at Rs. 199/- + GST and coffee / tea is charged separately.
If one is looking at the friendliness / customer service of the staff or a good ambience, this is worth the visit. But if one is looking at value for money / tasty food, it would be a great disappointment.
My personal opinion - Try the Upma and Vada and give everything else a miss. Drink water instead of Juice /...
Read moreExcellent food, hospitality and service! We took sweet corn soup, Phulka and palak panneer ( had asked for non-garlic ) and then veg pulav. The taste was superb. Not too much oily, etc. I would 200% recommend this hotel. Amendment, following my second visit: I was told, Phulka can be prepared if there is not much crowd due to the "lengthy" process of preparing it. So if you want Phulka and may be other custom options, you may visit the...
