Si Nonna's – A Must-Try Spot for Sourdough Pizza Lovers in Bangalore!
If you're hunting for authentic sourdough pizzas in Bangalore, Si Nonna’s should definitely be on your list. Originally started in Mumbai, this brand is slowly expanding its footprint in the city, with the new outlet at Marksquare being one of the latest additions. With more branches coming up in areas like Indiranagar, they’re clearly on the move.
What makes this place special? One standout feature is their "make your own pizza" option — a fun and interactive experience. Since it's located right below my office, I’ve dropped by multiple times to grab a coffee, try their desserts, or simply take a break. They also had some good opening offers when they launched in November 2024.
Ambiance & Setup: The place has a relaxed vibe with clean, well-lit interiors and tastefully decorated walls. It’s a great spot for a casual hangout or even to work remotely — thanks to the complimentary WiFi. You’ll also find a blackboard menu listing their monthly specials that aren’t on the regular menu.
Menu Highlights: The menu is neatly curated and spans soft drinks, hot coffees, gelatos, and of course, pizzas. Their sourdough pizzas are the main draw, with about 10 varieties (most of them veg), and lots of extra toppings to choose from. They also offer a small range of fried starters — two each in veg and non-veg.
Service: The staff here are courteous and welcoming. Special mention to Nahidul, who’s been my server on most visits — polite, knowledgeable, and always helpful with recommendations. His attentiveness and timely service really elevate the dining experience.
What I tried & loved:
Nonna's Famous Tiramisu (₹429): An absolute treat! If you’re a tiramisu fan, don’t miss this. The layers of mascarpone, espresso, and savoiardi were creamy, rich, and spot on. I order this almost every time I visit.
Mozzarella & Jalapeño Croquettes (₹349): Perfectly crispy and filled with seasoned potato, jalapeños, and Fior Di Latte mozzarella — a great starter in the veg section.
Sicilian Pistachio & Belgian Dark Chocolate Gelatos (₹249 each): Made from authentic ingredients, these are a must if you love gelato. Rich, creamy, and indulgent.
Pizza #7 (₹749): Topped with slow-cooked spiced chicken, Vesuvian sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, basil pesto, homemade chili oil, and EVOO — this one packs bold flavors and is definitely worth a try.
Final Verdict: Si Nonna’s is more than just a pizza place — it’s a cozy and welcoming spot that serves up some delicious Italian comfort food with great service. Whether you're here for a quick bite, dessert, or a laid-back coffee break, it...

A special shout-out to Mr. Mani deep, who went above and beyond to explain the art of pizza dough making. His knowledge, passion, and enthusiasm for what they do made the entire experience so much more engaging and memorable.
Not only did Mr. Mani deep take the time to educate us about the intricacies of the dough, but he also made us feel incredibly welcome and valued as customers. It’s rare to encounter such personalized attention, and it truly set this visit apart.
