Sri Udupi Park — Restaurant in Bengaluru

I went to this hotel for breakfast. ordered combo breakfast, which includes uppitu (uppma), kesari bath, 1 idly, 1 vade, 1 masale dose and coffee. I ate everything and started to eat masale dose last as it's my favorite food. But masale dose was cold, completely dry, hard and dint had that fresh feel even a little bit. I went to the counter and told the same to a person who served me. He said it's been 15, 20 mins since they served so that's the reason for masale dose's condition and nothing can be done. I simply went back to my table kept the plate washed my hand and left from there, once I reached parking area that same person from the counter came back and called me saying that manager wants to talk to me. I went back spoke with the manager he also said the same thing that it took 15,20 mins and all while checking the cctv footage. Cutting short after talking for few mins he offered me to take something else whatever I wanted but by then my mood was spoiled, if they had offered the replacement when I had went to the counter I would have been ok with it, but after going out to parking area they called me so i fint feel like eating anything over there.. I accept that it was 15,20 mins since they served but the problem here is not masale dose getting cold or hard, everyone knows that it will happen, but the problem is dose not having that fresh feel and the mistake I did was I dint touch and checked it as soon as I received it.. I have eaten in many hotel across India I know that fact that even if it gets cold and hard at least it'll have that fresh feel.. Either they have served me masale dose which was prepared long back or they dose know how to prepare masale dose that is for sure. So i would like to say that either you people don't go there to masale dose or check once in the counter it self as soon as you receive it. Choice is yours. Once again I'm being honest here, I'm posting this review in anger or anything it's just disappoint that's all. They dint spoke rudely or anything, it's just the quality was not good and the reason they gave was not satisfactory. Once again the...

Was a good stop for breakfast. Chomped down on some Kharabath was exotic, mild yellow, had the right proportion of oil, lot of curry leaves, grated carrot, 🥕, cashew , peas a few here and there, overall it was a good decision and the portion was so much it takes care of ur breakfast. Was sumptuous. Ordered for a piping cup of coffee.....was upto the mark.....

My only issue was that the cashier, at the counter was not willing to accept GPay, which is a tad not very convincing issue in the morning.. He had some tardy reasons for not accepting. I ended up paying cash... In today's scenario even a smallest of trader accepts GPay, Paytm, and other modes even for a pedley amount. And a restaurant of this magnitude in the hub of Bangalore and the area is infested with Corporates, IT, Software offices nearby in large numbers...This kind of attitude is not a good sign.. The management should in the larger interest of the clientele, sort it out and ensure at any given time they accept payments...

i happen to work nearby this restaurant, the breakfast here is mostly south Indian , all south Indians food that you can imagine off is available here with very limited options for north Indian food.

The food is just above average, not excellent or good enough though, i am giving one star less for the taste and quantity of food.

what you would like is if you sat near the the balcony you would get a wonderful view of whats going on in the road. cleanliness is well maintained in the restaurant.

The tea being prepared here is super awesome.

Say you were to start your day with a very bad mood, come and have a tea here in that case and you'll realise the power of tea in this shop...funny right!

final verdict - if i wanted to have a decent breakfast with awesome tea without leaking my budget , i would definitely give this...
