One of the worst experience we've had. When we were checking the menu, one of the managing person came and rudely told us to keep it on counter because THEY ONLY HAVE ONE. When we later questioned about this, the counter person says they've printed new ones but are not giving them because prices are different. Then why even print them? Can you not even afford few menus extra? Haven't u heard of customer service? Samosa chaat was one of the 'today's special' and upon asking for it, they just outright say it's not Available. So I ordered a kachori chaat. When I went to collect it, i saw just a plain kachori in a dish with onion on the sides and some chutneys. I questioned about it & the guy says, kachori chaat nahi banega (we can't make it) then when I further questioned this and stood there, he called one younger boy working there and told him that I want kachori chaat only. Then he reluctantly started doing something. All of sudden a new person walks in and stops the boy and starts making the kachori chaat and is also instructing the boy how to make one. So basically the boy who was about to make it, had no idea how to. And after watching all of this, i was sooo happy to be on the recieving end of such a great customer service! We had ordered a coffee and a hazelnut breve chocolate which I had already given the receipt. But they didn't even start making it. We finished eating everything, then my wife went to ask them why are they not making it. Then they checked the bill and started making. And after that, the filter coffee my wife got was in between cold and lukewarm. We didn't even have energy left to go and argue or fight with them about this. This was our first and apparently last visit to this place. NOT AT ALL...
Read moreFor at least the past four years, this particular restaurant has been our go-to spot. Whenever anyone visits my home, I've taken them there at least once. There have been weeks when we've had breakfast or evening snacks here on at least four days. My sister used to make fun of me, saying, "If she's not at home, just go to Shri Nidhi."
But today, I regret every penny I've spent at this restaurant because sometimes, more than the quality of food or the goods, where our money goes is also important. I now feel that I gave business to the most inhumane people I have ever met. Today, I had to face the worst traffic from Channasandra to Hope Farm Road. I literally waited for 45 minutes. The only option left to reach my college (I am a physics lecturer) was to park my car and take the metro.
I requested (literally begging, with tears) the restaurant to allow me to park my car for 30 minutes, so my husband could take it after that. I even offered to pay a parking fee and tried to hand over my car keys. The receptionist checked with the manager a couple of times, but the manager strictly denied my request, saying they had a party at 10 am. All of this was happening around 8:30 am, and I even promised them I would clear the car before their party started.
I also mentioned that I am a regular customer, and that my husband would place an order from the restaurant today, if that was their concern. But the manager couldn't empathize.
I would like to mention that I have free parking at A2B, which is right in front of Shri Nidhi, because I am a Cult employee. However, the traffic wasn't moving at all, so I thought I would take Shri Nidhi's parking help, which they didn't allow.
Anyways, as I said, I regret every bit of business I...
Read moreI recently dined at a veg restaurant that exceeded my expectations in terms of both its ambience and service. The restaurant boasted a well-designed seating arrangement, allowing for a comfortable and relaxed dining experience. The cleanliness and hygiene standards were impeccable, which greatly added to the overall appeal of the establishment.
The attentive and efficient service provided by the waiters was commendable. They were prompt in taking orders and ensured that our needs were met throughout the meal. Their professionalism and attentiveness further enhanced our dining experience.
As for the food, we started with the kung pao baby corn, which was a delightful appetizer. The baby corn was perfectly crispy and coated with a flavorful blend of spices, complemented by the addition of cashews. The pav bhaji was a definite highlight. The buns were toasted to perfection in butter, and the bhaji itself was generously topped with cheese, resulting in a mouthwatering combination.
Moving on to the main course, the aloo kulcha was a flavorful delight with its well-stuffed and deliciously spiced potato filling. The paneer kurchan stood out with its thick gravy and abundant bell peppers, creating a harmonious and satisfying dish.
For desserts, we indulged in the rasgulla and rasmalai. While both were decent, they didn't quite match the excellence of the preceding dishes.
Overall, this restaurant offers a satisfying dining experience with its decently priced menu and appropriately portioned servings. With its clean and hygienic ambience, attentive service, and flavorful dishes, it is a place worth visiting for a delightful...
