We recently visited The Fisherman’s Wharf in Jakkur, and honestly, it exceeded all our expectations — in food, ambiance, and especially service.
From the moment we entered, we were welcomed with warm smiles and a vibe that instantly felt different from other city restaurants. The setting is truly beautiful — open spaces, subtle Goan décor, cozy lighting, and a laid-back yet lively atmosphere. Whether you’re with friends, family, or on a date, this place instantly puts you in a relaxed, holiday-like mood.
We decided to try a mix of seafood and Goan specialties. The flavors were authentic, bold, and perfectly balanced. The fish was fresh, the prawn curry was rich and aromatic, and the appetizers were served hot and crisp. It’s rare to find a place in Bangalore that gets coastal cuisine so right — but here, every dish reminded us of a beachside shack in Goa.
Now coming to what truly made the experience special — the hospitality.
Mr. Vishwanath, who took care of our table, was absolutely wonderful. He was polite, attentive, and genuinely interested in making sure we had a good time. From suggesting dishes based on our taste to checking in without being intrusive — his service was thoughtful and warm.
Mr. Raju also kept checking on us throughout the meal. His coordination and management were seamless. It’s clear that the team works together like a well-oiled machine. Their teamwork reflects in how smooth everything felt during the visit — even though the restaurant was quite full.
And then there was Ms. Sheetal, who welcomed us with a smile and made us feel comfortable right away. Her energy was infectious, and you could tell she really enjoys interacting with guests. She checked in with us towards the end of the meal and genuinely wanted to know how we felt about the food and service — not just as a formality, but with sincere interest.
It’s very rare these days to find a place where food, ambiance, and service all come together so naturally and beautifully. We left the restaurant not just full, but happy and satisfied. It truly felt like a short, peaceful getaway within the city.
Would I recommend The Fisherman’s Wharf, Jakkur? Without a doubt, YES. Whether it’s a casual dinner, a celebration, or a peaceful lunch — this place delivers on all fronts. And with people like Vishwanath, Raju, and Sheetal taking care of guests, you’re guaranteed to leave with a smile.
Looking forward to visiting again very...

We recently organized a social gathering for 35+ friends at Fisherman’s Wharf, booking the venue well in advance for a Christmas and New Year celebration. Despite the initial promise and the substantial amount spent on food, drinks, and entertainment, the experience turned out to be highly disappointing.
Pathetic Service from the Start:
The welcome drink served was Sol Kadi, which was far below expectations for such an event. While we overlooked this, it set the tone for the poor service that followed. The beer service only started at 2 PM, even though we had planned and arrived earlier. Unprofessional DJ Experience:
The DJ stopped playing music at 4 PM, claiming he was providing his services for free, something we were not informed about beforehand. When we requested an extension for just a few minutes, he outright refused, stating he needed Mr. Suresh’s permission. Despite multiple polite requests, Mr. Suresh, the Service Manager, showed no interest in accommodating us and dismissed our concerns rudely. Food Quality Issues:
While some items were fine, the Biryani and white rice were half-cooked, and many guests were dissatisfied. When we tried to provide feedback to the chef and Mr. Suresh, it was ignored and taken lightly. Although the chef offered to replace the food, it was too late as most people had already finished eating. Shocking Behavior and Language:
Towards the end, when we requested a song to play for a short game, the DJ again refused without approval from Mr. Suresh. Attempts to resolve the issue through Mr. Umakanth, who introduced us to the venue, also failed. Worse, Mr. Umakanth used abusive language toward our group, and Mr. Suresh arrogantly stated he didn’t care if we left a bad review, showing complete disregard for customer service. This experience left us deeply dissatisfied, especially considering the money and trust we had invested. For a large group, the venue's unprofessionalism and poor handling were shocking. If this is how they treat a big crowd, it’s concerning to think about their treatment of smaller groups.
Advice for Others: Be cautious about booking this venue for events, as their lack of accountability and customer care is evident. We plan to share this experience widely to ensure others are aware of...
Read moreOn our way back from Sakleshpura, hunger struck and since it was a little late to cook at home, we decided to stop by Fisherman’s Wharf in Jakkur. The reservation was made through Eazydiner for a group of five adults and one child (11 years old).
From the moment we arrived, the hospitality stood out. The concierge welcomed us warmly and guided us to our table. When we requested a change of seating, the staff quickly accommodated us without hesitation, which was much appreciated.
To our surprise, the restaurant was nearly empty for a Sunday night, which worked in our favor in terms of service. We were given the option to choose from a range of fresh seafood including lobster and pomfret. The food turned out to be the highlight of the evening — every dish carried a distinct flavor and was well-prepared, though the pricing leaned toward the higher side.
Here’s a quick rating of the items we tried:
Corn Salt Pepper – 7/10 Pomfret Tawa Masala – 8/10 Kala Khatta Punch – 6/10 Butter Naan – 6.5/10 (Butter was only for name sake) Donne Mutton Biryani – 6/10 (Mutton pieces were all borns and no flesh and does not have the biriyani flavor. It felt like piece was booked and added afterwards) Prawns Curry Rice – 7.5/10 Virgin Pina Colada – 8/10 Virgin Mojito – 7.5/10
Overall Impression: Fisherman’s Wharf in Jakkur offers a warm and hospitable dining experience with delicious, flavor-packed dishes. While pricing is slightly on the higher side and some items were average, the seafood and beverages made the visit worthwhile. A good choice for those seeking a relaxed dining experience with...
