VV Puram Food Street or popularly known as Thindi Beedi is the most loved food street of the city infused as a part of Bengaluru food culture. If you are entering from Sajjan Rao circle then you will spot this on your left. Being credited as one of the first shops to be put on the street, Vasavi Chatnis is a must-stop for amazingly tasty Jalebis, Akki Roti, Ragi Roti, and Noodles. Just after Shri Vasavi Chatnis, you’ll find this restaurant to your left which is insanely popular for their authentic curd Kodu Bale. With a history of 75 years to its credit, Arya Vysya is primarily known for their crispy curd ring coupled with spicy and red chutneys. You can also try their soft and fluffy Idlis which are equally good. Idli Mane which is right next to Dev Sagar serves the regular South-Indian dishes like Idli, Dose, Khaara Bath in the street. However, this food point is famous for their Holige which is served in three varieties – Dal, Coconut, and Sugar. Moving on a little bit, if you want to try Mumbai foods like Pav bhaji, Vada pav, Tawa Pulao, and Dabeli then come to Dev Sagar. The special Rasgulla Chaat served here made with Rasgullas immersed in sweet curd with a topping of cashew nuts, pomegranate seeds, boondi, and Coriander is a must-have. You can also try your hands on Gobi Manchoori rolls, Rumali roti, and other Chinese food items. So, when you are done with everything, head to Shivanna’s Gulkun Center for some sweet note. You’ll spot this at the end of the street where you can try Gulkan Ice cream, Gulkan with raisins and dry fruits, and a Banana scoop of ice cream as per your interest and hunger.

This place has been memories for most of them and this place have been run since the ages and i can say well-known food street for complete Bengaluru. People travel from various places just to visit VV puram Chat Street. Especially during the weekends, the complete streets lights up with a trendy crowd. Almost one can try all the varieties of foods from North to South. Chinese manchurians to American sweet corns.😂. There are more than 50 food stalls all over the street, which comprises starters to the main course and ends with mouth watering dessert. Really, both "KADALEKAYI PARASHE" and "VV PURAM FOOD STREET" are the gem of Bengaluru. If you are going with family, then please avoid weekends. The best time would be visiting during weekdays or if you want to visit during weekends, then better to go by evening 5. Lot of reviews have mentioned about food & very few highlight the hygiene conditions of this popular food street. Undoubtedly this street is very popular one for South Bangalore crowd & food options are very vast, starting from chats, starters, main course, desserts, Ice cream, juices & much more. Recent beautification work taken up by BBMP of this street is going on in a snail pace with only UG work done & white topping of the street completed. It's in the same condition since long time with no deadlines from the undertaking agency. Looks shops / eatery oulets have come to terms in running their daily business with the same state of affairs. The road or walking path for public has reduced to mere 10 feet with the outlets acquiring more space on both sides on to the road. Even though it was a week day when we visited, hardly there was space to stand & eat comfortably. Waste bins numbers have reduced & there's no place to clean your hands. Outlets operating on this street have to make some collective arrangements for upkeeping of the place till it is given a proper shape by the agency. Suggest to carry water bottles from home to reduce the huge trash which the empty bottles generate on daily basis.

Entirely vegetarian options available here. You can get variety of good from north indian to south india cuisine. There is a rajasthani restaurant with the best paranthas. The price range is from 40rs to 90rs for one parantha depending on your choice. You get a really nice thick green chutney, pickle and curd with it. You have a variety of desserts available here with fried icecream, rabri jalebi, golas, charcoal icecream, smoke icecream, kulfis, roll icecream and what not. You name it and you get it there. You have many chat places too and you can also find idli, dosa, obattu, paniyaram etc as well. You can also get capsicum bhajiya, banana bhajiya, aloo bonda etc. You also have eat raja here where the juice is served within the fruit itself and the juice is refilled 3-4 times depending on your juice after which you can either eat the fruit or that fruit remains is given to animals. This is a zero waste restaurant. Overall a must visit place for some yummy food oh and to end the meal ypu get paans as well.
