I am utterly disappointed by the appalling behavior of one of your employees at Domino’s. My husband, an American of Hispanic descent, went to collect our order. The staff member called out “Ashutosh,” which my husband, unfamiliar with Indian names, did not understand and mistakenly accepted the order. Upon realizing the error, he immediately informed the staff member, who began shouting and blaming him for taking the wrong order.
When I tried to explain that my husband was not familiar with Hindi names, the worker rudely dismissed it, saying, “What nonsense, everybody knows every name.” To make matters worse, he continued yelling and then audaciously instructed his team to “only speak in Bangla with them—that’s when they’ll realize.”
This behavior is absolutely unacceptable. Domino’s is an international chain, and such regional bias and unprofessionalism have no place here. If your staff expect foreigners to inherently understand Indian names, perhaps they should consider running a regional Bengali chain instead.
As a loyal customer, I urge you to address this issue and train your staff to behave appropriately, respect customers, and provide the standard of service expected from an international brand. This experience has left a sour taste, and I hope you take corrective...
Read moreDuring the college life when resources in our wallet was extremely less, we were very fond of City Centre Mall as because we could spend our time sitting literally anywhere, as it got huge free areas. However, once we were joking among ourselves in the third floor open area, just beside the Food Court, when we couldn't control ourselves but try Domino's out.
It is located in a corner of the Food Court of CC2, quietly carrying on its business. We were to make a food court card to avail the services and hence we approached doing it.
The staffs were cool as well as polite but less spoken. I had to ask them pardon few times to understand what they were upto. However, after ordering a chicken pizza with required sides we made ourselves seated.
Being it a part of food court, it doesn't have any separate seating arrangement which is kind of a turn down. Been seated for almost 20 minutes we got our food delivered which was hot and crispy.
As it is evident with Domino's, the pizzas tastes quite well but you always find something is missing. If we eat our food little slow the last piece seems like a rotten chapatti...
