Fancy open areas for sitting on cool breezy days and nights to a comforting close to nature interior sitting area.
Their ambience shouts of happiness, natural decor ideas and the fancy bookshelves full of treasure- worthy books to cherish and soak yourself, in case you are on a solo spree.
A different cuisine awaits you here. Nothing regular. If you try their dishes they will be very much Indian but somewhat different.
Kicked off with cosmopolitan and LIIT. The cosmo was light and sweet whereas the LIIT was something that would make you high. Accompanied by Banjara Pav Bhaji, it was awesome with those mini pavs.
The Cambodian Spring Roll was absolutely heavenly. Crispy rolls with that decadent filling and those 4 sauces that they serve alongside. Try all of them. Simply amazing!!
With a repeat in our visit, another drink alongside Cosmo was just as good as first one. Burmese Samosa pizza was a papdi laid base with absolutely sumptuous aloo filling of a regular samosa.
Suggestion- Ask them not to put the foam on top which somehow reduces the pleasure you will drive from this dish.
In the entirety, courteous smiling staff, quick service, reasonable prices were a highlight. They serve a wide variety of Non-Vegetarian delights which you can order.
Their dessert menu is also one of a kind.
From regular Indian main course to appealing out of the box appetisers, they have you covered.
Try this place especially on a rain soaked afternoon or evening, pure bliss.
Soak in it’s beauty anytime anyday. Simply...
Read moreVentured into Sutra on a leisurely Sunday eve, a trio of comrades in tow. It stood there, beckoning with external charm, like the cool kid in the block. But when we entered, the interior ambiance played hard to get – potential, but average at best. The bar, though, was a shimmering star.
Unexpectedly, a celestial water leak graced our presence, as if the restaurant decided to join in on the evening's festivities. Despite the joint's vacancy, our seating desires remained unfulfilled. Oh well, empty spaces, but a full house of peculiarities.
The soundtrack of our evening was less symphony, more elevator muzak. As for the victuals, we summoned the Mix Sauce Penne Pasta and a Veg Platter. The latter, a pricey diva in proportion to its size, while the pasta was a comforting soul.
Now, let's talk drinks. We aimed for the bottled Bira White, a classic choice that hit all the usual notes. Here's where it gets spicy – we initially ordered two pints, dreamt of a bucket with four more, but the staff played the "can't do it now" card. Funny how the billing at these places seems like a constantly evolving Picasso painting, right?
In the end, it was a one-time fling for us. Sutra, you're still a notch above the rest of what Gardens Galleria has to offer, but we won't be running back into your arms.
Pro Tip: Sutra's up for grabs on Zomato/Swiggy with tempting offers. We used Swiggy + HDFC and bagged a sweet 20% discount. Your call,...
