An over extended morning meeting brought me here for lunch accidentally and this perhaps was one of my better days to explore! Clearly, this place has an outstanding view of the deer park & lake with avid flora & fauna! I'd be more than happy to spend a whole day ideally over this view totally with some good company, branded liquor and adequately tasty food in front of me!
We started with some Moroccan Rolls, Veg Doner Kebabs & a non veg platter with our choice of drinks. Being a group of 5 and with 2 complete vegetarian, each one was looking ahead to best food n drinks from the place amongst the desired environment! The food here is inspired from the Arabic / Persian / Lebanese and hence some of its involvements could be clearly madeout in the appetizers very early into the scene! The Moroccon veg rolls were clearly tasteworthy with much cheese & small bits of peppers as it's fillings and gave as strong feelings of exploring more. Even the Veg Doner Kebab was extremely good considering the zestful flavours of veg mixes inside the pita combined with the fresh hummus & radish salad! The non veg platter consisted of mutton kebab & chicken shishtouk that were quite flavorful & on a different note than regular Punjabi flavors! Both Veg Garden fresh & Peri Peri Chicken tikka were quite cheesy yet filled with quite a bit of toppings respectively! Baked Nachos with appropriate cheese sauce & honey chili potatoes were more than decent too! With adequate drinks beside us, the green diaspora clearly made us fall in love with the place while pleasent house music was playing to glorify everything. Some Dal makhni, Rogan Josh & Tawa paranthas at the end brought about our worthwhile time to an appeasing...
Read moreHKV is always pleasant in the evenings, having said that I went to Hauz Khas Village after a really long time so I chose to hang out at Masha with my buds. The ambience was nice and lively with a live band singing away some classic Bollywood tunes. We ordered - • Masala Cheese Fries • Dahi Kebab • Tawa Mutton • Hummus and Pita • Amritsari Fish Tikka (Must Try) - Absolutely lipsmacking, super fresh and crisp. • Masala Soya Chaap • Chicken Tikka • Chicken Peri Peri Pizza • White (Alfredo) and Red Sauce Pasta - Alfredo sauce was spectacular. Ooey gooey cheesy penne is an absolute treat to the tummy! • Panko crust Mushrooms with cheese
Some drinks that are worth mentioning - Ginger Lemonade, Virgin Sangria and Bourbon Strawberry Cinnamon Cocktail
Having had so many dishes whilst there, the highlight of my meal was the Alfredo cheese sauce pasta, Amritsari Fish Tikka and Chicken tikka while the Dahi Kebab and Masala Soya was my least favourite of the lot. The ambience and the lake view compensate for the fairly average food. The staff was attentive and alert but the food service was very slow (partly also because it was a weekend and the place was packed). Overall a decent place for lounging and chilling with a spectacular view...
