One of the worst Parathas that I had . I reached the Google review but it seems all good reviews are paid.
They have the Paratha test and price is very high and worth the test.
They charge 150 rupees for a single piece of Paratha . We have paid almost 550 rupees for 4 Paratha.
Their menu has a note option where they mention if you take anything extra or with one Paratha you need to pay 50 rupees for subji
Never visit this place I am not recommending. They have looted money.

Review of Paratha Place
One of the worst parathas I’ve ever had. I read the Google reviews, but it seems all the good reviews are paid.
Their parathas are overpriced and not worth the taste. They charge 150 rupees for a single paratha, and we ended up paying almost 550 rupees for 4 parathas.
Additionally, their menu mentions that if you take anything extra or with one paratha, you need to pay 50 rupees for subji.
I strongly advise against visiting this place. I am not recommending it at all. They have looted...
Read morePt. Kanhaiya Lal Durga Prashad Dixit Paranthe Wale, since 1875, is a must-visit for many food enthusiasts. Their paranthas, made with desi ghee, is served with sabzi and banana chutney. However, my experience was a mixed bag.
The paranthas, while cooked to perfection, lacked a distinct flavor profile. The desi ghee, expected to be rich and aromatic, was surprisingly subtle. The sabzi was average, and the banana chutney, though unique, didn't quite complement the dish. I tried the mix and Paneer varieties, but neither impressed.
Given its legacy and fame, I expected a more exceptional taste experience. Unfortunately, it was just okay. Perhaps the quality has been compromised to cater to the masses.
The service was prompt, and the prices were reasonable, but the real draw is the history and nostalgia surrounding this place. If you're a fan of old-world charm or want to experience a piece of culinary heritage, visit Pt. Kanhaiya Lal.
However, if you're seeking an outstanding parantha experience, consider exploring other options in...
Read moreI recently visited Pt. Kanhaiya Lal Durga Prashad Dixit Paranthe Wale while shopping in Chandni Chowk, as many people had recommended the famous Paranthe Wali Gali. However, my experience was quite underwhelming.
We ordered an Aloo-Pyaz Paratha, and the plate came with several accompaniments like aloo-matar, kaddu ki sabzi, chutney, and pickle. The paratha itself was very small—more like a stuffed puri—and deep-fried in oil. After sometime, we were served another, which made us think the plate included two parathas. To our surprise, the bill came to ₹220 for just two parathas, which felt overpriced considering the quantity and quality.
The taste was average, nothing extraordinary compared to the hype. Hygiene and cleanliness are a concern, and the sitting arrangement is cramped. The only positive was that the service was quick but they were not very friendly.
Overall, the place feels overhyped and overpriced. It may be worth visiting once for the experience of the historic lane, but definitely not a spot I’d revisit for...
