Visited this paratha shop on 9th Dec 2018 and tried their Paneer (Cottage Cheese), Aloo (Potato) and Hing Heera (Asafoetida & Cumin) paratha types. Note that these are kind of deep fried paranthas. To be frank I did not like any one of them. Even the ghee (they say it Desi ghee) they use gives a typical burnt flavor to the paranthas and the color of it was deep black. That burnt flavour completely suppressed the flavor of the stuffed items except for the hing jeera variant but it was again super salty and beyond something my taste buds could tolerate. Maybe you need to develop your taste to enjoy these paranthas so no offense for the individuals who likes these. One plate of parantha consist of 2 spicy curries (one aloo and other pumpkin) and one sweet churney and you need to take 2 paranthas which could cost you 120 or 140 rupees for the general variants. The owners does have attitude and you may face issue if you don't have change. In my opinion these paranthas are not even close to simple paranthas we had in Amritsar where It was amazing and full of pure ghee flavor with a dollop of butter will surely take you to heaven. I will personally never go back to paranthe Wali gali ever in my life. As this gali or the lane is very narrow the pungent smell of frying spicy paranthas around may cause temporary breathing issues...
