The Beer Café — Restaurant in Delhi

It's a good place. It has its plusses and minuses. General description would comprise that it plays good English music serves a wide variety of beer (they list the number of different beers outside near entrance itself) and service is good. When we talk more specifically,

Plusses : Friendly service, waiters are polite and conversation English. They have a good hygiene unlike lot of other restaurants in Delhi NCR. For a change they don't chew the red thing inside their mouth. Variety of beer served is good. They got plenty of brands and they provide tasters when required. Hard liquor is categorised and they have a lot of varieties. The simple baccardi black rum which other restaurants give a miss was served when I went last night The music on Saturday night was awesome. There was no DJ however the collection that they played was great. Again, unlike other restaurants they gave routine Bollywood numbers and Punjabi pop a miss, which is an added benefit of this place. Food menu is interesting. Although not a lengthy menu, they have managed to include some interesting dishes from around the world

Minuses : Time taken for bringing food is a lot. One gets tired of waiting. Taste of food is not that great. I had ordered Dutch fries, which was french fries with chillies, mayo, tabassum. However the sauce and chillies were just placed over the French fries and the fries were deeply fried and not soft inside. Excess mayo destroyed the taste of fries and tabassum. Quantity of food served should increase. Olive chicken dish from Italy was interesting but it had just 6 small cubes of chicken wound around an olive. Crowd is all shoppers as this cafe if situated inside a shopping mall. Party going crowd not seen. Which could be a good thing as well.

The beer cafe UNITY ONE ROHINI DELHI Everything is good about this place but the problem is they are doing a good level SCAM..

At the time of billing they will give you a bill with vat on alcohol tax over food.. and the main SCAM starts from here that they will charge you 10% service tax over your whole bill. If you are not aware you are definately going to pay for that.. and obviously if you are aware then you will ask them who do I need to pay service.. they will polity reply you this charge is optional.. haha are you guys kidding me.. scam is that they will simply replace your bill with another bill therein no service tax is being charged.. They are chasing with costumers as well as company.. As they must be generating two bill all the time one is with service tax and another one is without service tax.. and the tax goes in the pocket of manager or cashier only.. as they always show in sale without service tax.. which is huge i.e. 10% per Bill. One more thing I do have photos of both the bill with service tax...
