My recent visit to Barbeque Nation, Rohini branch, was deeply disappointing.
Starters: We began with Chicken Seekh Kebab, which the chef candidly admitted was sourced from outside. While it was acceptable, things quickly went downhill. The Tandoori Chicken Legs were undercooked and bland, and the Chicken Tikka was astonishingly tasteless.
Main Course: The disappointment continued with the main course. The Mutter gravy dish was poorly prepared, lacking any depth of flavor. However, the Butter Chicken was shockingly bad—the gravy tasted overwhelmingly of tomato ketchup, completely masking any authentic flavors. Surprisingly, the basic taste of noodles, Dal Makhani, and even the Tandoori Pineapple were nowhere near their expected culinary standards. My son also asked for Chilli Chicken, which took 30 minutes to arrive and was deeply tasteless as well. Additionally, the chicken and mutton pieces were unusually small, something I've never encountered elsewhere. The chicken pieces were so small and oddly shaped that it made me question whether they were actually serving chicken or something else entirely. Even the street food available in Delhi, prepared within a few hours, tastes significantly better. However, it's hard to guess how long Barbeque Nation's dishes had been prepared before serving. I have visited more than 100 restaurants across Delhi, such as Gulati's at Pandara Road, Invitation at Ashok Vihar, Bellagio at Ashok Vihar, and many others. Usually, only one or two dishes might disappoint, but here at Barbeque Nation, all ten items completely failed in taste and quality. I had a significantly better experience at their Pitampura branch, which unfortunately has since closed.
Desserts: The Vanilla Ice Cream was the only enjoyable item, again sourced externally. It seems they are heavily relying on packed food items, which may not be as good or fresh as daily cooked meals. Unfortunately, the Malai Kulfi was another letdown, bland and devoid of its characteristic taste.
When I shared this feedback with the floor manager, his response was surprising. Instead of addressing the concerns, he asked me to instruct him on how to make the food correctly. I emphasized the importance of meeting at least basic culinary standards, which was clearly lacking in every dish served. To my further dismay, the chef, Mr. Gaurav, approached us and rudely questioned my feedback about the Malai Kulfi. Despite explaining politely, he persistently argued, creating an embarrassingly heated scene noticed by other diners.
Overall, the experience was marred by poorly prepared food, inadequate service response, and unprofessional staff behavior. I would not recommend this place based on my...

dear sir / madam, we visited barbeque nation ,unity mall ,rohini centre on 14/08/2020 at 8:45pm with prior reservation. after we were allotted table , we were holded for 30 min before the services were started , horror started at the very beginning when the place was overcrowded and no protocols of social distancing were followed . after a long waiting of 30 min., we were served with uncooked snacks both veg and non veg. after lodging a complaint with manager rahul , no action was taken. further we requested for several food items which were listed in menu wasnt available.no snacks were repeated afterwards despite of repeated orders as the service boys were not able to handle the expected crowds. later we ordered 3 coke (on extra bill) which was again not available and waiter offered limca on which we agreed ,to horrify the experience more he added ice cubes in flat limca to make it appear fizzy ,which was attended after 10 min as he got a 500 ml bottle from downstairs. so rs.310 for non preferable drink and that too non fizzy with ice...bravo.now coming to most wonderful dinner experience which was long awaited (almost another 20 min) half of the dishes were out of stock, dal makhani wasnt available neither the butter chicken. we were served with left portions of bhindi, half bowl of malai kofta and no salads (and we were 4 members). the things didnt end here, no lacha paranthas , 2 nan served that were almost frozen to death. sweet dish- only strawberry ice cream and kulfi(2 types).it was my sister's bday and cant express more what a horrific experience we had . she left in middle crying with her husband just because of poor service and inability of management to perform. i definitely made a complaint to manager thrice but he was busy in celebrating birthdays. and i would request you to follow other clients complaints who were there and made same remarks and were very keen to take the same action. managers apology can not make my day neither they can turn on the lost moments and still they were courageous to ask for money which i paid. all i want is to take a better action against the centre. have a look how u serve food.... langar baat rhe ho...
Read moreLovely place to have visited after a long time. The ambience was amazing. Built on the 6th floor of the mall with parking right there, it felt like it was a space on some small hilltop.
Having a fixed menu in both veg and non-veg with almost 8 starter tandoori items with a live-tandoor on your table top. The trend was started by BN and no doubt they still lead from the front. The food was nice while the staffs were amazing.
Right blend of spice and flavours in almost all the items. The tandoori dahi tikki was the winner in our case. Drinks(mocktails/shakes/smoothies) are based on Ala carte and couldn't try much as they had issues serving on the day I visited. The one I ordered with cranberry was okayish. Didn't know what much to expect so 3/5 (also not a mocktail person so ).
They had a live performance by the staff and wow that stole the hearts and show hands down. It was a delight to watch with punjabi songs mashup. If we decide to visit on a special occasion like bday and anniversaries, be ready to have guests around your table. The staffs sing dance and make the whole dining experience very special.
The main course was equally good as the starters with quite a few offerings from Chinese to our regular north Indian and biryani as well.
Coming to my favourite part, the dessert section had loads of cakes, pastries, 7 varieties(flavours) of kulfi, icecream and Indian sweets also.
When you plan going on here, skip the meal prior to lunch or dinner and then go and enjoy this place and find out truly what they offer. Pet bharega mann nahi.
Don't forget to get a pic clicked and take home a memory of the same as they offer...
