Nick's Place — Restaurant in Goa

We have eaten at Nick's Place, many times over the last 14 years. It has always been very clean and tidy. Staff are very helpful. Warm and pleasant atmosphere. Seating inside under cover, or outside at ground level. Open air seating upstairs. Some car and scooter parking in the grounds. Food has always been perfect, good quality ingredients used. Wide selection of Indian, Goan and International cuisine. The kitchen is more than willing to adjust any dish you order to suit your personal taste. Prices are reasonable considering the quality of the food and service. Nick's Place also have music nights, entertainers and quiz nights. Wonderful experience dining at Nick's Place on a number of occasions. Both the a la carte menu and the special Christmas menu - which was particularly good value and well thought out. Fantastic service, great attention to detail and the food is fresh, delicious and well presented. Highlight of my Christmas Day. Would highly recommend Nick's Place to anyone looking for a great meal and ambience - especially if they are missing English food. There are few places of this calibre left in Goa, it is a real treasure, a nod to the proper hospitality Goa was known for. This is my 1st ever review about a restaurant. We were a group of three who went to Nick's place for dinner last night. No complaints on the service. We ordered Chicken tikka, chicken Malai kabab and biryani. By far the worst food I have experienced in an Indian restaurant in India and the US. Malai kebab was sweet and so was the biryani. We asked for the manager who said this is how they make it, sweet which is not the receipe. And what about the sweet biryani. Perhaps the chef and manager need to do a little research on the authenticity of what they are serving.
