The outlet makes delicious Fafda Jalebi. However, due to the high popularity, the staff and the owners alike are unable to digest the fame and success. They invariably behave very rudely with everyone, and treat the customers like servants. Their body language is very arrogant and all of them behave as if they are giving it for free to everyone. Not at all acceptable. Have gone thrice to the outlet and every time the same has been experienced. Owners if you are reading this, please understand success does not last long if you don't respect your customers and don't have humility.
Another problem with this outlet is their inability to deliver quickly. It is well known that on certain days like Dussehra, people will flock in large groups and will order in large quantities. They haven't been able to learn and implement fast delivery over the years. When 15-20 people are waiting in queue especially their Fafda trickles in at snails pace barely able to deliver 2 customers demand at a time. Then again wait for 4-5 minutes. Ensuring you cherish the taste only after waiting atleast 15-20 mins. Either it is their inefficiency or their deliberate strategy to highlight popularity and demand through long queues. Either ways it's not good business management. Sooner or later people will realise and avoid coming to you. On the contrary, Irrespective of no queues also, if your quality and service is good, people will flock.
Owners please take note of the above.
After yesterday's experience, I and my entire group of 4 more families have decided not to waste our respect, time and money by coming to your outlet. Also please manage the waste disposal outside your outlet. No Dustbins are maintained and people throw polythene, paper, and leftover food items outside on the pavement and road. As someone who makes such a significant impact, it’s crucial for you to demonstrate a strong sense of civic responsibility. Take the initiative, make proper arrangements for waste disposal, and take ownership of the situation.
In case you want to discuss it further, feel free to contact me. Thanx...
Read moreThe food was as usual quite good but when we requested while ordering food for warm jalebis, as we saw there were some already made, the manager Mishra suggests that we better stand next to the pan where jalebis are made and eat as that's the only way we can eat it hot and making fun ofour request. And let me tell you, standing there and eating is not allowed as before entering the restaurant we tried doing that where the guy making jalebi didn't allow us saying it's against there restaurant protocol. Good food but extremely bad customer service. Who to complain when the manager himself has such an attitude.... Very...
Read moreOshwal, the name for fafada and Jalebi, it proves today that they didn't grow beyond this name. Amazing taste of fafda and jalebi as always, but rest of the snacks they stay way behind and I would say not even up to mark. Vegetable sandwitch, a basic snack, was almost tasteless. Idli was good but they should not have said that given liquid along with idli as SAMBHAR. No way it was a sambar. Staff was not cordial and would give you a stare if you ask for something for table. Hygiene was average. All in all, I would have a take away of Oshwal's Fafda and Jalebi but would never go for...
