San's Sizzlers — Restaurant in Gujarat

Came here for dinner on a Sunday. The wait was Loong for a table for 3, we waited for almost 1 hour. Once we did get the table, it took another 1 hour for the food to come out however, the wait was immaterial as I would not go back even if there was an instant service based on the food alone.

My friends got lamb sizzler and fish and chips.I got the some chinese sizzler from their menu. Everything was horrible in our opinion. My friends mentioned that the lam tasted like beef and fish wasn't even cooked properly and was super greasy. We were also suppose to get some cheese with the sizzler which we did not get till the end.

When they showed the same thing to the owner, he saw it and took the platter without saying anything or apologising. Initially when the fish and chips came there were three pieces and when he replaced it he gave two. He explained this saying you had one from the previous one!!! We were so disturbed to see his attitude like that (also, we did not eat one piece from the first platter - we only cut it just to show him that it's raw).

My chinese platter was pathetic. I could feel Wheat Flour in my mouth when I ate noodles. They had given a patty along with it which had no crust it was more like an awful mashed potato. It was so bad that I couldn't eat anything after that. We had also ordered a soft drink and they forgot to serve it.

Over all I think any restaurants in/around the same block would be better choice. Save yourself two hours waiting for horrible food. I hope...

It's quite an old establishment, nostalgic even for me. But the food was disappointing. So was the service. No one greeted us, no one offered a place to sit, no one offered to get us any water or take the order. Finally after 15 mins, I asked one of the waiters for water. The owner seemed busy at the front desk in his computer. Apparently he alone takes the orders. On asking if the two sizzlers we wanted to order would be different from each other, the Mexican shashlik and sans special - He said yes very much but they turned out to be very similar Huge Rice lump with hardly enough vegetables or paneer or mushrooms to share. It felt like eating rice at home. ON TOP OF THIS, THERE WAS A PLASTIC SHARP PIECE IN ONE OF THEM THAT ENDED UP IN MY MOUTH. We then ordered another sizzler with a patti and macaroni, adding an extra sauce which was finally good enough. Honestly, my mum makes a better sizzler than this place. Plastic sharpes in food are unacceptable. . Oh and finally, when asked to serve the sizzler the staff gave us a spoon and told us to do it ourselves. On the other hand the family right behind us was being served. It was strangely upsetting. The owner offered to take the extra add on paneer off the bill, which is hardly enough for the lack of taste, quality and experience. A 'NO GO' FOR ME FOR...

I wish could give the star rating in minus. Even if you will eat at a tapri, the experience will be better. The manager is too rude. The manager is really mannerless. He will not allow you to eat with peace. As soon as you are done with your last bite, he will come and force you to just leave. The taste is fine, but the experience is really very bad. I gave it around 3 trial, but it was the same every time. Even if the restaurant is empty, he will give the bill on your face. He treats you as if he is doing a favour on you by allowing you to sit at his place and eat. I have heard bad review about him from many of my other friends too and I agree on that.

If you are looking for a place to eat and want to spend a good time with your family and friend, just don't go to this place. Or if you still want to go to this place, just check if the manager is on leave ;-)

The quantity of food is also very less. But still, you can ignore that, but You just can't ignore the rude manager. A BIG NO FOR THIS RESTAURANT FOR GIVING PATHETIC EXPERIENCE. NEVER GO...
