People might consider this as a go to place for biryani, but my experiences haven't really been great both while dining and delivery. When once I thought of going for lunch, it was packed, so you would think they are good and I have come to the right place. Then after waiting for 20 mins in the rain and i asked the waiter for some biryani (chicken and mutton). His reply- we would take minimum 30 mins to service you for any food. The people sitting next to me, were furious with the management as there order didn't come for 45 mins and now the waiter said that they ran out of biryani, so wait for another 30 mins for the order. So we just left the place.
Second time we ordered for a delivery of the biryani. This time at least we go the biryani. But the taste was quite ordinary. The quantity was not even good for 2 people and very small meat pieces.
These guys call it Hyderabadi biryani. My advice to the manager. Please visit Lucknow or Hyderabad and taste the biryani, before calling it anything...
Read moreQuite a heart break. Ate biryani after ages and it's my utter misfortune that I tried biryani blues today. We ordered chicken biryani, their signature kheema biryani and chicken 65. Chicken biryani was tasteless to say the least. The worst over years. The rice lacked flavors and the chicken was just boiled and smeared with masalas. Kheema biryani was again a shame. There were no flavors. None. Neither on kheema or on the rice. Chicken 65 was just about ordinary. It was neither good nor bad. With an overall damage of around 1000 bucks thats all we had to curse our lucks. We ate biryani after at least 6 months and the last we had was from BB itself. The taste the flavors that we had in our memory all got lost today. Don't know what's changed in between, the management or the chef, but it's the worst biryani in recent times for sure. I should have tried...
Read moreThis Biryani blues restaurant has lost its taste. Taste of Spices in Biryani missing, salan has no taste. Serves Raita is from Nestle which is very much tasteless, do not taste like raita. Biryani blues used to serve raita prepared in there kitchen, they have stopped serving fresh raita for Biryani. They do not know what kind of raita need to serve with Biryani. Their peole says "fresh raita karab ho jata tha isliye packet wala use karte hai" this is surprising excuse then other restaurants are fool which serves raita. Worst part they give only 01 small pack Nestle raita for Biryani which serves for 02 pax means only 01 person can eat, extra raita is RS. 25 and print rate on ratita is Rs. 20. There Aam Panna is again worst, it's Squash and Sugar mix water for RS. 99 for small, Papar Boat Aam Panna at RS. 25 is far far better then their so...
