My vegan partner and I came in here for a late lunch at 5pm ish (or maybe call it early dinner!). Being our first time here, finding it was a bit tricky but we nonetheless made it thanks to maps! They offer valet parking here, though I suppose it's not really needed as you would have to leave on the street wherever you can find the space for your car.
My instinctive reaction to the ambience when we walked in was that it felt very modern/contemporary yet old school. The furniture used for seating especially in the outdoors looked like well loved antique pieces. Between the indoor option and outdoors, I'd recommend indoors if you're sensitive to mosquitoes. They don't have air-conditioned seating which would have been nice for the 5pm late noon heat that we were feeling. The staff here wear t shirts with their name printed on the back, which was a very nice personal touch to observe. You could tell that this vegan cafe (apparently Hyderabad's first vegan cafe in 2015) was full of such intimate artsy details.
We picked our table and ordered from the QR code based digital menu. The chicken nuggets, the green croc pizza, the game changer burger, the jackfruit meatball spaghetti were all incredible! Mind you this is a slow food cafe, so you will need to wait for your order. Don't come here if you can't wait 20 minutes to get your main course. It will take its time but it's worth it. Some folks brought their pets here as well. Except for the almond milk coffee, none of the dishes I had made me feel that I was at a vegan cafe.
Exquisite and unconventional are the words I would use to describe the lush nutrients rich meal that we had. The portion sizes are good, the presentation is lovely and ultimately the taste was yum. I didn't feel like I ate a lot of junk food but that's attributable to lack of calorie dense milk products/meat.
The bill was a bit on the higher side though. We paid 1,800 for 2, essentially for a super heavy lunch as we had a complete set of courses from starters to dessert.
To bottom-line this long review - Best vegan cafe in Hyderabad, but it deserving-ly commands a premium on...

One of the most horrific places to eat a pizza I completely understand why people who want to be vegan. Keep going back to normal food. At least after this experience
I had ordered a pizza, which cost ₹500 plus taxes The one which you can customise I was recently diagnosed with gluten and dairy intolerance and confirmed with the staff four times that it was gluten and dairy free They said yes, and they use vegan cheese
The pizza I received was basically a hard base with some nasty tomato sauce and toppings, which were so burnt
I had not eaten outside for months, and this was my way of treating myself, and maybe being a little happy for being able to eat pizza after so long
One of the worst things I’ve decided in my life
It would have been easier to eat a normal pizza and struggle through the pain of stomach pain
The pizza was so bad that I couldn’t eat more than one bite I had already confirmed four times with the staff before giving the order
I called them up after the pizza was delivered, which took about two hours
The person online kept on arguing that it is how a vegan pizza is, and I am not aware, and that is what we get
I should had actually made myself, Dal rice and quietly eaten lunch at home instead of waiting two hours for this disgusting meal
I had such high expectations from a place like this I kept on, wondering, what did I do?
There was zero cheese in the pizza The top was fully burnt The crust was hard like a rock I understand gluten-free crust is hard, but it is not rock
I do not recommend this place at all, and especially if a person like me who is treating themselves, which happens very rarely, I would strongly say, please cook your own meals or order...
Read moreFantastic ambience and pleasant food!
The vibes were immaculate and there was a cool breeze from the trees outside. Felt cozy and homely. Ideal if you want to spend time with people and talk for hours (especially since the service is very slow 😂).
We ordered the following: Malai chaap - comes with 4 rotis Jackfruit Dum Biryani [was enough for 4 people where each person was able to eat a small plate] comes with a small bowl of Raita Chole Kulche - comes with 2 kulcha [sufficient for only 1 person] Meethi lassi Cold chocolate shake Santra (a probiotic, non-alcoholic fermented beverage with ginger beer and orange juice) This has a kick and is sour. It's better to end your meal with this one. It was a challenge to drink but left me feeling like my palette was cleansed. Shy Sheep - pizza with basil, sun-dried tomatoes, olives and vegan cheese.
Taste wise, all the above was delicious. I would only say, tread gently with the Santra (and probably the other fermented drinks. Probably better to order one and see how you feel about it before ordering more).
Tips: It's very hot in the afternoons outside and there aren't any fans there. If you're coming on a hot day, it's better to sit upstairs where they have fans. There is an ac up there as well (wasn't on when we had went) Food takes a while to arrive so order ahead so you're not waiting between courses. Most items will barely be enough with 2 people (if you have meagre appetites). They do not have bottled water because they're against plastic. Instead, they have glass bottles that you yourself can fill up from the water...
