Ghrelin Cafe and Patisserie - Banjara Hills — Restaurant in Hyderabad

horrible place, don't fall for the postive reviews. The entire place is just depressing to say the least not because of hygiene or infrastructure because of the horrible horrible staff specifically the person who is at the counter most of the times (most probably the owner). He will make u feel he's doing some kind of a favor on u or is giving food for free, the sheer arrogance this man exhibits kills the entire vibe of the place, they will force u to leave even if the cafe is empty, the last time me and my friend went there to discuss our final project even before we were done finishing the desert the owner sent one of the staff members with the bill and we felt so disrespected that we decided to leave without eating specially given the fact the cafe was entirely empty. Won't recommend at all, would have given the rating in negative if there was a way but will have to settle for 1 star....

On one of those days when my spouse wasn't in a "cooking mood", we decided to try out a new restaurant from a popular food delivery app. Unfortunately, we picked Ghrelin and ordered one unit of each of the dishes we were attracted to in their menu. The outer periphery of the cheese paratha was tasteless and there was very little cheese in the center too. The edges of the sandwiches were burnt and hard though I could see some cheese in their "Cheese Sandwich". The pizza was disgusting. Their pizza base tasted like rubber and you could scrape the cheese off the bread with a toothpick. That was the amount of cheese they had lavished on their "4 cheese pizza". Only the pancake was bearable. I'll never order from this...

Chicken stroganoff and rice bowl was good. The coffee (cappucino) was absolutely horrible to taste. When I told the staff about it, they were in complete denial. They kept saying that it's not possible, it's the best coffee in banjara hills and no one else has complained, so they implied that something is wrong with me and also that I shouldn't have ordered coffee with stroganoff. I did not get a refund, nor did they replace the coffee with something else. I did not expect so much attitude from the staff at Ghrelin cafe. I would not recommend the place as a whole, because of their arrogance. As a doctor, wanting to have a nice cup of coffee after having a hard day at work on a Sunday, I felt hugely disrespected...
