L.G. restaurant & cafe — Restaurant in Jodhpur

Painted the familiar bright Jodhpur blue throughout, this family run restaurant and guest house is a gem that sits happily on the slopes above the town, directly under the Mehrangarh Fort. It has three separate rooftop areas with views over the city and up to the fort. The family are really kind and helpful. We stayed at the LG for three nights and the food was so good we ate there every night. Note that the restaurant is open to all, whether you stay there or not. Would really recommend trying it...

A family owned establishment and such a treat! Happiness (the owner‘s son) kindly recommended us things to do throughout the day AND to try the typical Rajasthani „desert beans“ curry and it was divine! Flavoursome, nutty, and absolutely delicious. We washed it down with rice, naan and a drink. The atmosphere makes the experience even more special, next to the fort, in the blue city, listening to the sounds and seeing the sights of Jodhpur. Service is quick and friendly. This guest house will go above and beyond to make sure you feel at home. No ask is to big or to small. The food is cooked fresh on request, again no ask is beyond this place. They will cook your food to your taste and change anything you need for dietary requirements.
